Guida al ricamo Hedebo (Italian Edition)

Even thought this book is not in English, there are so many pictures that it doesn't matter.Don't hesitate to buy this as the pictures are so abundant and clear that you don't need words!

You don't need to know the language if you can follow visual directions. It's just like having the author there in silence. Wonderful book.

As expected, very instructive even if not fluent in Italian language. Recommandable to embroidery hobbyist of moderate to high skill level

Beautiful book on antique needle lace.

This is a very good book and I don't see why I can't tell you about it. The authors are talented Italian needleworkers and teachers and have a handful of other books on various embroidery and lace techniques written both separately and together. The collaboration of these two is fantastic for us the needleworkers as they both believe in exhaustive explanations and instructions.Step-by-step photos which are taken from close-up are very clear and are complimented by accurate and impressive computer illustrations. There are tips and tricks scattered throughout the text (in Italian) and photos of both antique and contemporary pieces of Hedebo Embroidery.The preface is followed by a bit of history and definitions of what makes up Hedebo Embroidery along with the materials required. Next is a section on the basic stitches and then the basic motifs, nearly 30 in all! Three projects are proposed and then there is a useful bibliography. This soft-cover manual consists of 64 pages.

As an Hedebo embroidery enthusiast and although the instructions are in Italian I have found the instructions easy to follow. I am enjoying the book.

As all the books from this editor that I purchased, it is a very well made instruction book. The pictures are clear and precise, the graphics beautiful and without knowing the language, anybody could use it without problems. Love my purchase.

Excellent, even witout speaking the Italian language pictures are really helpful to understand the process.

Ho da poco cominciato un corso di ricamo e avevo bisogno di libri che mi aiutassero a rifare i punti che mi insegnava la maestra di ricamo. Questo soddisfa le mie esigenze, in più ad un prezzo veramente favoloso. Lo consiglio ampiamente.

Bellissimo. Libro fatto bene con delle belle spiegazioni. Facile da seguire con foto e spiegazioni comprensibili anche per chi non conosce la tecnica hedebo
