The idea of reusing the batteries was why I bought this product. They all work fine, but the box was all torn up

Problem is: These "Better"Batteries didn't last but 6 monthsI purchased 2- sets of these battery pacs thinking that we'll be all set and prepared to replace any of our batteries as needed. They just didn't have the self life needed to meet my plan. The standard alkaline batteries that I bought on Amazon are still good! Now I'm replacing my "Better" Batteries with the much older Alkaline Batteries. I'm not certain how that's going to help the environment any?Very disappointed in these battery's performance and the Company!Anyone have room in their trash can for all these batteries that I wasted my money on? $90Tom

the batteries are great quality and last as long as any other brand. i love the green concept but its the price that bugs me great batteries no issue with them. i love the effort of the compony to keep these green and out of landfills

This variety battery set is beautifully presented and includes all the batteries you'll need over the course of a move. It would convey very well as a giftset, and you're gift receiver would be thrilled. I think there's better value out there if you're personally buying for yourself, but if you're looking to make a cutesy impression that is actually useful for a new homeowner. This is your gift!

The batteries are placed heads up and the directions recommend that when you need to replace the battery, just put the used battery in the box upside down. The envelope that is used to mail the batteries to you is to be kept and reused. When all the batteries are depleted, just place them in the included shipping bag and place in a FedEx container. The company takes care of recycling the batteries for you.The World's First Certified Carbon Neutral Batteries allow you to have a convenient method of recycling the batteries.I’m not sure how practical this system is. I don’t need many 9 volt batteries but need to wait until all 22 AA and 22 AAA batteries are used before I mail the box back. Also, at 90 cents a battery, your cost is a little high. Review:It's frustrating to rank a good product poorly just based on price, but this is exactly that situation.The product itself is great and I love the fact that it is ecofriendly and takes those steps into consideration. However, to spend on average 2x as much for this product as for similar battery kits with the same amount of individual batteries is just not logical. I don't know why anyone would do that, especially during the inflation we are currently experiencing on other goods.The batteries themselves are great. The efficiency, build quality and packaging is all wonderful. These are great batteries, nice large package, and when tested they all have good voltages and last as long as your other leading brands. I’m not sure I really like the idea of shipping back the box though, as I can’t see that being more efficient than dropping them off at your local hazardous waste depot, but if your the type to not be bothered to do that, it’s definitely much better than just throwing your spent batteries in the garbage. I would much rather them use a rechargeable tech, so that his box can be used and reused many more times. This is definitely way more wasteful than getting a few sets of lithium batteries and a charger. But if you absolutely need alkaline batteries, than this is a decent idea, and I certainly like that the shipping bag and cost is included

This is a pretty regular looking set of batteries to be honest. You get a fair number in the box, with 22 AA , 22 AAA and 2 9V batteries. The packaging is really nice and I like that the box can be used as storage unlike the plastic shell wrap that I typically get from big box stores. That said, this feels really expensive for the number of batteries you get. I understand these a re labelled as carbon neutral, but it's difficult to assess the claim and I'm surprised they would go for such a coloured box when a simple brown box would've been significantly more eco friendly. Overall if you're big on the carbon neutral claim and don't mind the price, this will work well enough. Otherwise I'd probably suggest you just go with rechargeable batteries.

The packaging is nice but excessive so let me wonder about the eco friendly claim. The box contains 22 AA, 22 AAA, and 2 9V batteries. Considering the number of batteries you get, this box is expensive. Certified carbon neutral sounds environmentally friendly though. If the claim is true, the high price is justified.

Packaging needs serious improvement. First, the little silk pull tab ripped right off first try. Then I discovered that all the AAAs were tilted and wedges under the cover and I had to rip up the box to be able to get at them. No putting them back in order for recycling after that.All of the batteries I sampled tested full, and the ones I placed into my Firestick remote have been working great.
