Great little weekend project
I bought this robotics kit to build with my son, and it was such a fun experience. At first, it felt a little challenging, but the instructions are super clear and made the process much easier. The best part was figuring out how the omni wheels work—my son thought it was really cool! It was awesome to see him so excited and curious about the mechanics. This kit is a great mix of learning and fun. It helped us work together, solve problems, and feel proud when we finished. If you’re looking for a cool project that’s both educational and enjoyable, I definitely recommend this

I like it.
This car is a very thoughtful gift from my daughter. It's perfect for an old engineer like me to pass the time in retirement. I spent about 4 hours watching videos and tutorials to assemble it. The first run was a success, which was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to completing the other courses soon.

good intermediate kit
I use this in a high school robotics class, to teach about basics of hardware-software in robotics. The car is fun for the students, with its Mecanum wheels, lights and two kinds of remote control. The Arduino Mega 2560 has plenty of pins to control all the peripherals at one time (an Uno would probably need wires swapped). Labs are thoroughly documented and sample software is complete & works.

My kid loves it!
This Mecanum Robot Car is a perfect fit for intermediate Arduino enthusiasts. For beginners, it might be a bit challenging. You'll need to carefully follow the manufacturer's online tutorials and YouTube installation videos to successfully complete all the projects. If you have some experience with Arduino programming, you can modify the sample code provided by the manufacturer to make your Mecanum wheels perform some amazing tricks. If you're bored with those basic toy cars, this Arduino-powered car is definitely a great choice.

Good build and customer service
The build quality of this kit is nice and sturdy but I am most impressed by the tech support. I ran into a bug with my code and called in to ask for help. Their engineer spent at least an hour on the phone and help me fixed it!

Items are not compatible with car chassis.
We are disappointed with the order. The car chassis is not compatible with Model Y board v2.0 (we received).

Updated instructions needed.
I have put together other projects like this, but this one has me stumped. It has great quality parts, but it seems the updated board lacks full documentation. If you get one at this point, it will probably have an updated control board. I've looked everywhere for further information on where to plug in the wires, but I'm just going to have to ask an electrical engineer friend to clear it up. It's unfortunate that an updated (better) board isn't as documented as the older ones. It's fun to build, but I'm a bit disappointed by this purchase. If the manufacturer could simply give the inevitable instruction guide for the updated control board (model y, 2.0), I'd give five stars. Some documentation is given, but it seems to disappear later in the build.
