Beauty and the Beast Read-Along Storybook and CD

Let's face it. Daddy cannot always be available to read books to his little monsters. When I am, I do. However, when I am not around to do so, these books are a great way for my kids to read about their own princesses, monsters, etc.A cheapy boom box also purchased on amazon and they are good to go. It also helps to teach my daughter to read, as she is looking for the words she hears even when I cant be there to read to her. We read the books together when we can, but in the meantime, these books are fun for her. Sometimes when I am feeling lazy, we listen to them together instead of me reading!

My daughter can't read yet but she loves to follow along with the book as if she can and when she hears the familiar chime she turns the page. She asks to play these in the car over and over. Well worth the money. I just wish there was more parts with the character talking (it's mostly a narrator reading) or with some of the music from the movie (no music at all on the cd) but overall a great buy!

Our kids love these read-along storybook and CD (ages 3-6). These are a quick story so parents can handle multiple go-arounds while each child gets a chance to listen while looking (and reading) the book. I love that it makes a sound when it's time to turn the page since the littlest isn't technically reading the story but she can still follow along.

Our 4 year old grand-daughter loves these Disney CD books. She listens to them over and over. I like the way the chimes tell her when to turn the pages. Her Daddy loved Disney cassette tape books when he was little. I was happy to see these books are still available for a new generation to enjoy. Of course having princess stories are a change for us.

This is pretty good and my 3-year old daughter really enjoys it. The story is a bit shorter than I expected. We also have the similar series Moana book+CD and its audioCD is 22:13 while Beauty and the Beast is 11:59, so the adaptation just isn't quite as long. This is OK, though, I don't always want to commit almost a half hour to a story. My only real gripe is that I feel like the end of the book kind of comes out of nowhere and then suddenly it's over. It seems a bit like they were creating an adaptation and then suddenly they needed to cut it short due to either a production constraint on the book or something in the disc.Overall it's fine and for under $4 (current listing as of this review) you will not be disappointed with this.

A little long in certain parts for the kids I work with 4-5 year olds

This is a great companion on long car rides; my kids love it. And I have to say, as someone who saw this in the theaters when it first came out 25+ years ago, there's a fun nostalgia factor for me when they incorporate sounds and voices from the film!

My kids (2&4yo) love listening to this book in the car. Story is around 10-15 mins long. Just enough time to get to the grocery store. They both follow along with their books (we bought an extra). Makes running around town much easier and more entertaining for them

My four year old listens to this on repeat! She follows the pictures and the chimes let her know when to turn the page. She is obsessed with it!! And although the repetition of it gets to me, it keeps her entertained on car journeys

Gostei!!!

I bought that book for my daughter. She is only five years old and cannot read. But these books havethe perfect length app. 15 min.; Its perfect for our ride to the kindergarten. She loves them very much!We have already: Coco, Peter Pan, the Neverbeast and Beauty and the beast!

Ma fille de 4 ans adore ce cd, elle l'écoute en boucle. Certes, elle ne comprend pas tout le texte, mais les images lui permettent de bien se situer dans l'histoire. Je regrette juste qu'il n'y ait pas au moins une chanson. Mais j'imagine que cela doit être une histoire de droits...

Il libro ha soddisfatto la richiesta di mia figlia di conoscere la storia in inglese. E il cd in macchina è un ottimo alleato.
