perfect for role play
This is such a brilliant add on to games where children like dressing up.In the box you simply a treasure map, a wipe clean pen, treasure chests and gold coins. (All from cardboard)Essentialy the clue captain has to decide where the treasure wil be hidden and then will circle or write clues based on the treasure map answering the following five questionsWhat colour is it?What shape is itIs it big or little? What letter does it start with?Is it up high or down low?Based on the clues the pirates then try to find the treasure. So this game is an early introduction to problem solving and playing with an adult means you can adjust to the level of your child to keep it fun and interesting.Great fun!

Great for kids with ages between 3 and 5
Basic game that will entertain little ones for at least a few evenings. It comes with instructions and they are easy to understand. We made the game challenging for our little ones, by adding some bits we had at home, to make the game harder after a few evenings…Overall is worth the money, specially if your kids are young (3 to 5 years old).

Simple game play
I initially got this as my boy like pirates, but once found out the contents and gameplay, is has little to do with pirates, was a bit disappointed.Treasure hunt game ok to play, essentially it is similar to easter egg hunt; the main differences you don't have to hide the Easter eggs around. You as the treasure master would choose an object, to be the treasure, your children, would ask you questions to figure out the treasure. First one whom brings the item to you wins a coin. The concept of the treasure hunt is a useful weapon in the distraction of younger children; anyone with a toddler knows they use distraction on daily basis, essentially "go find blah", to stop them from asking for ice cream. This game kind of plays on that, and I feel that this game watered down the distraction tool already used, by many people in everyday life.I can not recommend this as, this waters down a tried and tested form of distraction, that is already in people's arsenal, and the USP can be copied by printing some coins, which will be cheaper. In my case, I think the money would be better spent buying a pirate themed toy.Pros- Simple gameplay- Can use any object as "treasure"Cons- Waters down, tried & tested method of distraction.- Contents bearly constitutes a pirate themed- Easter egg hunt, repackaged- USP is replicated every year

Not worth the money
Firstly…I was shocked when I opened the box and saw the contents….You get two small folded trunks with lids that you have to put together and glue…Then you get this wipe clean board and a card of gold coins…and a white pen..So in theory this is a game of I spy…and the difference is you pay £7.99 for this one….They have even padded the box out with more cardboard…Sorry but don’t waste your money….Cannot recommend

A treasure hunt at home.
This is a simple game. The box contains all the different elements you'll need to create the perfect treasure hunt in your own home. You pick a random item or a 'prize' like sweets or a chocolate bar and it is hidden in the house. You then have to ask questions and try guess and find where the item is. The board included in the box is meant to be guidance on what's to be asked and it will help young children develop their thinking skills and practise words related to sizes, shapes, numbers... Simple but a lot of fun!

Glammed up eye spy
This is a simple and enjoyable game that kept my daughter entertained. It’s like a glammed up version of eye spy. A treasure map, a wipe away marker, two treasure chests, and twelve gold coins are included in the set.The treasure chests need to be assembled with glue or double sided tape. Pritt stick won’t work Unfortunately. The game can be played 2-4 players. In summary there needs to be a clue captain. All the other pirates need to close their eyes and count to 10 whilst the clue captain has to choose an item in the room as their treasure before the time is up and keep it a secret. The clue captain takes the treasure map and wipe away marker and secretly writes one clue per box on the map about they item they have chosen. They can circle or write on the map, the colour, shape, what letter it starts with, the direction the object is in and size big or little. The captain gives the treasure map to the other pirates who take turn guessing which item the clue captain has chosen. Each pirate only has two guesses. If a pirate guesses correctly then win a coin and add it to their treasure chest. The first pirate or team of pirates to have three coins and yell “ARRRR” wins! There is also an alternative way to play for younger kids, parents can hide the coins and give clues about where they hid them on the treasure map!
