Literally the best thing since sliced bread
We purchased this press February 2020 and it's changed our lives. OK, in all seriousness, it is honestly the best kitchen gadget we purchased.Pros1) Makes the BEST patty melts, grilled cheese, quesadillas, wraps, burgers, chicken, literally anything that can be placed on the plate, can be cooked2) Heating is very stable, each time - every time, consistently3) VERY large plate - if you wanted to, you could cook 4 normal sized sandwiches at once. We normally just do one-two at a time because if the sandwich is on the outer corners, it doesn't get as brown (we like perfection in our patty melts)4) This thing is SOLIDLY built. If you are debating whether to buy it or not, buy it. You won't regret it.Cons (not many)1) Not really a con per-se, but it's good to know that this thing is HEAVY. If you are not a strong person, you might have difficulty with pulling it out of a cabinet to use it each time. We keep ours on the counter in its "place" and don't bother putting it away. If you live in a place with not much space in the kitchen, this item may not be for you.2) Cleaning. Once you season the plates, it's not too bad to clean, but if you cook meats directly on the plates, it can be a little time consuming to clean them up. We use a wet cloth while the plates are still very hot and nothing else because you don't really want to scratch the surface of the plates. RECOMMENDATION: When cooking, use foil as much as you can to wrap the food, especially cheesy sandwiches. That way, no cleaning is needed upon completion.

Heats up fast, small in size
Heats up fast, fits in a small space. I bought it as a backup for my restaurant, heats one wrap at a time though you have to position it correctly for it to hear the entire surface. Only downfall is it's SUPER heavy but what does that matter really.
