Easy to apply and just takes a little more effort to remove. Does not leave any sticky residue after. We live in a flood zone in Florida and we used this to seal the bottom of all entrances into the house. It was very effective at keeping our house protected. The cost was a lot less than expensive repairs from water damage. One thing to know about flood insurance. If you make a claim you can’t make another for five years.

This product has extremely strong adhesion. I have used flex seal products over and over. I bought this to seal a hole from a tree limb in my garages metal roof. So far, so good, no leaks!

Over the years I have repaired my 54 year old kitchen chairs with just about every kind of tape on the market but it was always put on in strips of tape which wouldn’t hold and after sitting on the chairs, tape residue would come off on clothing. After watching TV commercials, I decided to try this waterproof tape. I purchased the 12 inch wide tape which covered the entire leather seat. It worked out perfectly and now no matter what my grandchildren do, it’s an easy wipe to clean up any mess. I’m very happy with the product and the results. It’s been over several weeks and there is no sign of the tape coming up or wearing out. Maybe I’ll get another few year with the chairs before I get new chairs. But you know what they say about “they don’t make things like they use to….” 😁 I can’t wait to find a new project to use the tape.

I had to temporarily patch a large hole, a few smaller holes and several cuts to an old EPDM (rubber) flat roof on my garage. Water would poor in every time it rained. The roof is old and needs replacing but wanted to buy a little more time as replacing the roof will be a few thousand dollars.Positive:The adhesive is very tacky and sticks to surfaces very well. While you should make your best attempt to clean and prep the surface you intend to place the tape on it adheres to dirty surfaces well -- you're likely to get less life out of the seal without proper surface prepNegative:The 12" wide role is grate for large holes, however it is a pain to unroll and challenging to have it not adhere to itself. If you have to use a piece that is longer than a foot it is challenging to get a nice, smooth patch without ripples in the tape. That said I was going fast and am a first time user. If you have several holes to patch you'll likely get better applying the tape.Outcome: It worked. We had heavy rain twice since I patched holes on my roof and I did not have a drop of water in my garage. A $60 purchase delayed a much larger roof replacement.

Great product . i ended up buying a 25 ft 4 in black and 10 fy 12 inch black. In the spring I used it to repair my summer pool tent and i also use it to extend the life of my stretch pool cover. Love it but don't let it touch and where that you don't want it. IT STICKS

So I did expect it to be sticky in order to adhere and stop and leaks. What I didn't conclude from reading other reviews and descriptions is how sticky it is. It is hard to cut it to size due to that. It is also hard to start the peeling due to that. But once it is peeled, you get 1 one shot to place it where it needs to go! Definitely seals up the leaks that I needed to seal up. The vinyl is durable so it should last for a long time. Note that the rubber glue will stick to whatever tool you use to cut it, i.e. scissors. After I'm done, I had to clean the scissors with a glue dissolving solution and that cleaned up well also.

Product seemed very solid. However, plastic backing was impossible to remove. Bought 2 rolls of same 12 inch tape and was able to remove the backing off one of the rolls worked fine. Maybe one of the rolls was older? Waste of $50**Update**Adding 2 stars for painless return of the faulty roll. Need 2 more rolls for the same project so hope the faulty roll was just bad luck.
