Have been following deconstruct’s IG page for quite some time. These guys painstakingly explain each ingredient and it’s effect on the skin and let you decide what your skin needs My skin is the type that is extremely prone to tanning and therefore is slightly patchy. Learnt that Niacinamide helps (still don’t know how to pronounce it though :p) It’s been almost 2 weeks since I have incorporated their Brightening serum in my morning routine and it has indeed started giving the skin a more even kind of tone. It’s odourless, blends in almost instantaneously and has a pleasant after feel on the face For a person who has been struggling with a patchy skin all throughout the adult life, not having to use a concealer came as quite a surprise. Hoping that the rest of the bottle can replace my foundation too

So I really like deconstruct products, I like the fact that they sell 15ml and thus allow you to test the product before you go in and buy a large pack. Coming back to this particular serum. I have very sensitive skin and am already using the chemical exfoliator from the same brand. I picked niacinamide because I was looking at getting an even skin tone ad reduce some pigmentation. This serum is effective and works well however the concentration of 10% is a bit much. It can cause some breakouts, as I have experienced. I soon realized that I needed very little and I needed to use it less frequently. Niacinamide is a wonderful ingredient and a little goes a long way. If your skin care already has niacinamide in it, just be aware that the amounts can compound and become much more than 10%. Be aware of what ingredients are the in all your products and then choose wisely. I suggest using this serum sparingly, make three times a week only once a day at first and them build up. It is very effective and worth trying out, but don't get too excited and over do it. Don't forget to moisturizer well after the use of niacinamide. Hope this helps.

Good product makes skin slightly brighter, takes time to work on acne spots. It's like tortoise wins race but very slowly.
