A Guide to Collecting Early and WW1 Trench Watches Paperback – December 26, 2020

If I had one complaint about this book it would be that most of the watches are high-end that can cost thousands of dollars these days. I wish it covered more about the watches the Average Joe bought back in the day. Other than that, it's a nice book, the pictures are beautiful, and the text is informative.

If you already own books on this topic then don't bother as there is nothing new contained and the vast majority of the watch images have little or no information regarding them. The authors have the eBay disease of talking up the watches as "Stunning" "Super Rare" or "Sensational" and overlooking the important aspects of the watch that they could highlight .I found little help in advancing by collecting skills or information on items already in my collection. I am glad I bought the kindle edition as I do not think it will ever be used as a reference document. If you have no publications on this topic then it's an "OK' book, hence the star rating of 3.
