It is very good quality stainless steel, silicone lid. I have used it in the oven at low temperature for what I was making. Can not be faulted. I will buy the bigger size. Will recommend this product. Nice size lunch box as well.

I am ever so pleased with the quality. The steel is NOT THIN. Don’t get me wrong it’s not ‘over thick’ or ‘crude’ in construction. A great balance, IMHO. THIS IS A STURDY WELL MADE ITEM.When I saw the item on Amazon I didn’t appreciate just how nice the lid is. It’s a lovely close fitting lid. I say ‘close fitting’ but I’m tempted to say ‘air tight’. I’ve noticed that when I clip the lid on (it gently but positively ‘clicks’ into place) it traps a little excess air as the lid slips down that last little bit. This excess air tends to ‘pressurise’ the vessel just slightly. You can feel it in the middle of the lid. Well, after a good few seconds the ‘taughtness’ is still there. Indeed, in the lid is a vent hole with a plug (evidently designed to be cleanable). When this plug is removed the excess air flows out… you can feel it in the lid and as it goes past your skin. If this isn’t testimony to the lid being ‘close fitting’ I don’t know what is. For all that the lid is close fitting, IT’S NOT OVERLY DIFFICULT to get off. You’re not going to break nails removing the lid!Besides being close fitting, another thing I like a lot about the lid is its flexibility. Again I think a great balance between flexibility and stiffness has been reached. Lovely. The ‘vent’ plug is very good.I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice stainless steel storage container which can be used in many ways, it's oven proof, freezer safe, microwaveable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The pot it's will last forever but not sure about the airtight lid!!I would love to have a few if these in different sizes but sadly the price is very high. If you have ever bought a decent set of saucepans you will know they cost the earth but will last you for years and years, my point being if you can afford the high cost it will last you a long time and save you money in the long run ( a bit long winded but o lying way I can think of putting it)Definitely recommend on quality.

The media could not be loaded. This is absolutely excellent. The only point to make is I found that when microwaving it takes an extra minute to heat the food compared to using a plastic container.This is so well made and looks great.The lid stays in in my lunchbox on my travels at work. Nothing leaks out and it's securely on.The flap for the vent in the lid is a great idea.It's so easy to clean.I love how even tomato based foods like spag bol don't stain it.I'd certainly get more of these.

This container looks and feels excellent quality, it is robust and durable; perfect to not only use as a storage container at home but would travel with you equally well should you wish to take lunch to work/camping etc.The lid is snug making for an air tight fit, there is a small pull and replace air hole should you to want to microwave this. (I can’t quite get my head around putting this in the microwave, metal normally is a big no, I don’t understand what makes this different?.)This is oven safe up to 180 degrees which I actually find a little disappointing, I cook mostly at 200 degrees. This is where a Pyrex container out performs this which is what I would normally use.Overall I like this container, I think if I could improve it, it would be to make it oven safe up to at least 200 degrees. Aside from that, it is well made, strong and durable and certainly up to the job of food storage especially on the go.

Jag har haft två stycken nu i några veckor och är mkt mkt nöjd. Konstruktionen, storleken på plåtlådan och locket känns gediget, funktionellt och bra. Jag använder dem i huvudskap som "mise en place" som handlar om att ha allt i ordning, maten alltså. Så jag köper grönsaker och hackar upp dem när jag kommer hem. Ställer in dem i kylan i dessa lådor och så tar jag fram dem vid matlagning och tar det som behövs. Bra storlek men skulle själv behöva komplettera med en 2.7 liters. Varför 4 av 5. Priset är för högt. 30% off skulle kännas bra men det är bra saker så har du behov av stora matlådor eller vill ha mat i kylen = köp. Det går att frysa in men min erfarenhet om syftet med infrysningen är att ha i köket, dvs inte som matlådor, så är plast bättre för det.

These are amazing when it comes to size and function. Why is it not common with microwave friendly stainless steel in other lunch boxes to avoid heating and eating plastic?The only disadvantage with these boxes, and this is a quite important one, they can not be stacked into eachother to an extent that saves space as is the case with other similar products. If this would have been possible, I would immediately have bought ten more of these.

Non si apre quando lo porto nello zaino e sorprendentemente può essere usato senza problemi anche in microonde. È comodo anche il fatto di poterlo mettere direttamente in un forno classico (meglio senza coperchio) essendo di metallo.
