Tri-Write Wood-Cased Pencils, 2HB Soft, Yellow, 12 Count

I bought the tri sided pencils for my students when I was a teacher because they were so much easier for them to use. Ticonderoga #2 is the pencil of choice and add the three sided design and a good eraser and you have a perfect pencil. I no longer teach and my hands are arthritic but I continue to use and order this pencil for myself. Other pencils are too small and require me to grip too hard. There are three corner cushion grips for pencils and guess what shape they are? Three sided. The pencils sharpens well, the graphite is solid within the pencil yet soft enough to make writing easy and the eraser does a clean job.

I really like the three sided pencils from Ticonderoga. I have arthritis in my hands and they are more comfortable for me.

I'm happy to finally found the triangular pencils which can be sharpened with regular pencil sharpener! I used to buy the big black triangular pencils for our kids (6 and 3). They are great to learn how to hold a pencil properly with a kid's tiny hand. But it was not fun to sharpen with an exact knife every single time. And the older one needed to get used to a regular sized pencils, but she still had a tendency to grip weirdly with a regular circular pencil if I didn't remind her. So this standard sized triangular pencils solved my problem. I love that they can be sharpened with regular pencil sharpeners and still in a triangular shape. Now kids can sharpen on their own without any danger, and still get a good habit of holding pencil correctly. Even for adults, I find that I don't feel tired holding a pencil with this shape. Also, the eraser at the end works well. I don't like when some erasers at the end of pencils just smudges the writing, but these ones do erase.

Some of the led broke but that’s because the pencils were handled quite roughly by my two younger boys. But I LOVE these pencils. They were recommended to me and I and so happy with that recommendation. My 3 year old is holding all his pencils correctly just by using these pencils for a few months. My ADHD 5 year old who has lazy tendencies when it comes to writing even commented how easy and comfortable they were to hold! I’m a very happy customer.

Probably the best pencil in the World! (said in Clarkson voice). Seriously though, it's as smooth as silk. I especially like the rounded triangular cross-sectional shape, which may be designed for beginners but is eminently comfortable; fine for not only toddlers but also this 66 year old perfectionist. My favourite writing implement - ever.

We purchased these pencils for our little one as they are easier to grip and handle than pencils that are simply round; they feel more comfortable and natural in the hand. The quality of the product and quick service/delivery from this seller was much appreciated. I have used other brands previously and there is a noticeable difference in quality. The price was great and the quality of the product is excellent. I'll order more of these when the 4 packages we ordered runs out.
