Very durable, can load with small treats.
My pups love this toy. Last one lasted about 3 years before the rubber teeth wore out. The squeaker doesn’t work too well since toy is stiff.

Tough toy - great value when on sale
It is weird how half of the reviewers think this toy is super tough and great for extreme chewers but the other half say it wasn't durable enough. My boy Louie is a shredder, shreds anything that's not super tough, and this toy is perfect for him. Plus, he knows it by name (get your gator) and prances around showing it off 😅I had one just like it - I think it was a PetSmart purchase - that lasted for a few years but all the little ridges started to get torn off. So I threw it away and ordered this one. Louie thinks about it first thing in the morning and can't wait to chew his gator! If this isn't tough enough for your dog, there's something going on with your dog.It was on sale for around $12. Great value at that price! But I went and bought a second one from another Amazon vendor because they're gouging people with the $18 price tag.

Excellent customer service!
I ordered this for my 69 pound aggressive chewer, Goldendoodle. It arrived missing the brush to clean it. Customer service quickly sent a replacement. This toy is sturdy and is holding up well.

NOT for power chewers!
Power chewers STAY WAY! This product may be suitable for medium chewer, but absolutely not my 50lb lab mix. She is a power chewer and I am used to products saying “indestructible” and “last for months” then getting 1-2 weeks out of a toy, but she had chewed this one and ingested bug chunks of it in 20 minutes. Do not buy this product if you have an aggressive chewer.Edit: my girl’s tummy brought up more inch squared pieces of this alligator today. Several of them. I had no idea she had any pieces still in her stomach let along that many. They had been there for a month! Taking her to the vet today to have her stomach X-rayed. A $20 toy meant for chewing is now going to cost a $1000 to make sure it is all out of her stomach. Stay away from this teeth cleaner.
