wHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

They are high-quality zip ties. A flexible nylon strip feeds into a head, when pulled, closes the loop tighter and tighter via a tongue-in-groove ratchet. The tongue is metal (most of the cheaper ones are plastic) so when this is cinched down, it's very unlikely the catch will give way. These are much higher quality than the kind you would generally find in a local hardware store. We exclusively use these to hold runs of cables together in very expensive installations around the world. Also note that this particular product is UV resistant, so they can be used outside.

Where to get a 10, 12, 0r 14 inch long, and around 2.40mm width tie rap? Are how to tell how the size works? I dont understand?

I have purchased many at Walmart. They seem to be very good ties. Never had one break. (Personal at-home use). Here of lately, the cable ties at the Dollar Tree stores seem to be great! I tried breaking one while pulling it tight and I could not. Here, there's not a great assortment of lengths to buy, usually only about a 6 or 8 inch, don't remember the actual size, but I think they only had one length.

Are these genuine Thomas and Betts or not ? Your ad is confusing and some reviews say they are not .
