I had no idea the number of ways or how often that I would use this. This power supply is so easy to use and extremely accurate. This is High performance!

The power supply itself works quite well and seems to be accurate enough for bench work. I actually like the single control with dual purpose where you push to get fine-grain control, then push again for course grain control. Also it is nice to have the output control switch - I'm surprised at how many bench power supplies nowadays don't have that feature. The leads that come with it are adequate and it takes the standard banana jack leads. The only issue is if you want more than 1, you may have to order a few to get the sizes to match - for some reason the exact same part number comes in 2 flavors - long cab, and short cab. I prefer the short cab, but when ordering my 2nd one, I got a long cab, then I ordered a 3rd and got another long cab, so I could keep gambling and ordering more till I get a 2nd short cab, but instead I guess I'll return the short one and keep the 2 long ones.Update: Vendor (Vlifree) reached out to me to let me know the long-cab is the previous version and the short-cab is the latest version - they are going to make it right so I end up with 2 short-cabs instead of 2 long-cabs, so +1 star for the excellent vendor support, and I'll be happy to gain a couple more inches of space on my bench :-)

This is a pretty good power supply, pretty accurate and robust, I just have two tiny problems with it:At times it turns on its fan and that's much more loud than I expected. And I am not even talking about driving it at crazy power. Say running at 14V @ 2A - it tends to turn the fan on from time to time. And I hear it two rooms away (that's how I even noticed).The other "problem" which is a design decision that I did not anticipate is: if you have set everything up and now just need your circuit/device powered - this PSU would stop supplying power if you experienced a blackout or other power interruption. Every time the power is resumed it enters the adjustment mode and you need to press the "power up" button to power your circuit again, so if you need something to keep providing power at all times as long as there's power in the outlet, get something else.

Really good unit that we use every day. It has great short circuit protection. We use it every day in the shop and want to buy more, but I don't see that they are available.

If you're reading this, it's because you need a power supply unit and you're smart enough to read the reviews....LOOK NO FURTHER!!! this PSU is exactly what you're looking for if your work takes 11 amps or less! I originally bought it for diy aluminum anodizing (works beautifully, I might add), but then realized I can use it in place of all the AC adapters I use daily whilst doing repairs or just tinkering in my shop! This little machine is like all answer to prayers I didn't even know I was sending up! I wish I could give it 10 stars out of 5!!I know it seems a bit over the top, but I'm telling you, this thing is consistently making my life easier! I only wish I'd ordered it sooner!Put it in your cart, and bring it home.... You won't regret it, I promise!(Oh, and I have yet to hear the fan noise other reviewers cry about.... It's not noisy in the least.... Just my $.02)

This thing is a little powerhouse literally variable amp and volt very cool the leads plug-in even after you have some thing wrapped around the terminals awesome I would recommend this for any bench power supply that doesn’t need more than 5 AMp perfect for CB radio if you’re not kicking the cat

Used for about 16 hours when first purchased. Went to use it a year later and died after 1 hour. Keeps blowing fuse. Refuse to buy any more garbage from overseas!

This is a great buy, it has a small foot print so it doesn't take up to much room on your desk, I've had no issues with the power supply, I like it very much. I use it mainly to inject volts/amps into a circuit board to locate failed components. I can recommend this product for anyone working with electronics.
