This is the perfect matte black. Its the darkest eyeshadow I've tried. I like it better than bloody mary brand and its not chalky like that brand. Its darker than Mac Carbon and blends well. It would work great to set and darken eyeliner as well. Will be buying more of this.

First off this is too dark for a shadow so i use it as an eyeliner- using a flat eyeshadow brush. now what makes this formula “magic”- more than any other black eyeshadow/make up I’ve owned.. is once it’s on, it’s not going anywhere!! THAT CAN BE GOOD AND BAD!! I cannot leave this in my purse because little black flakes end up everywhere (if you close the compact and shake it you’ll notice a little black specs fly out sparingly) and whenever I stick my hand in my purse I come out with black marks all over my hand from this eyeshadow. and it doesn’t come right off either or you need to use soap and water. . not always a good thing. if you’re like me and you sit in front of an oversized mirror and do your make up on the floor. DO NOT SET THIS ON THE CARPET! use a towel or paper towel. bc The second you open it, little black pieces will be all over your rug, and as soon as you try to clean it it just makes a bigger mess (I have found spraying Windex directly on the spot with a paper towel works wonders and gets rid of the black immediately) however, on the bright side, once you get this on your face, it will be there all day long. I use a flat eyeshadow brush and I line my eyes with it on the top and bottom. I love this shadow and this little compact. if only it were completely spill proof 🧐But honestly you may as well get your own little separate make up bag for it because it will destroy any make up bag within days!!! The whole inside of the bag will be black. Naturally, you can clean it, but you’ll find yourself doing that a lot! all in all, this is an incredible black eyeshadow. you just need to be very careful about it getting on your floor/make up bag/purse/whatever! kinda messy that’s i didn’t leave 5 stars.

Love it! Bought it for a show and the pigment is so vibrant. The only problem I had with it was when washing it off it left me with a faint pink tint in the areas I applied it. It was not an allergic reaction the pigment is just so vibrant. But it was definitely worth it!

It is hard to find a decent yellow that works on tan or darker skin. This one does. The pigmentation is drugstore level which means you need an actual shadow primer or if you want to use concealer, make sure you set the concealer before applying the shadow. You will need to pack the shadow on if you want pigmented color. So either use your fingers or use a flat shadow brush to pack on color. If you want a wash of color or using as a transition shade, then a fluffy brush will work just fine. There is fall out, but no more than most shadows.

This is better than my urban decay black eye shadow. Like seriously get this. I paid $22 for urban decay black eye shadow. This one is only $5 get it! Its the best blacl eyeshadow I've ever had! I highly recommend and will definitely be buying more

It’s a good amount of eyeshadow in the pallette. It does come off more dark pink than it does red, but it still worked- just not exactly what I was going for.

I love this shade of brown. Looks beautiful and worth the money. I am purchasing more today. I have had a hard time with finding a decent brown shadow and came across this thinking this is the last time. It goes on smoothly and you dont need to keep putting layers to darken it. I recommend.

When I received the color, I describe it as a Light mustard color which is the exactly SHADE I wanted...... in my opinion the photo shows a lighter color then what it really is.
