The DYC chain breaker tool is a strong and simple tool that works exactly as it should. The metal body feels solid and heavy, not cheap or flimsy, and the threads on the press screw are smooth with no binding. It lines up perfectly on 420 through 530 size chains and pushes the pins out cleanly without bending or slipping. The handle gives good leverage, and the tip stayed straight even after a few stubborn links. It’s compact enough to carry in a toolbox but sturdy enough for regular shop use. For the price this tool is excellent quality and makes breaking and resizing chains quick and easy. Five stars for strength, precision, and value.

Excellent tool for breaking light gauge motorcycle chain, seems sturdy, and so far has broken a chain three times successfully. It does take a great deal of hand strength, but for the price it's an awesome addition to the tool kit.

This works well. I used it on a 2025 Honda CRF450R dirt bike with 520 chain. The key is to back the bolt part out enough that both holes fit over the chain pin. Clamp down and then drive the threaded pin pushing screw threw to push out the pin. Seems well made.

Good size, i found the tip of the breaker a little too big for one of my chains but the reason for the 3 stars is the quality. The tip broke after breaking 2 pins. Other than that, it’s a great tool for the price but if you’re going to be breaking heavy duty chains, you’re better off spending an extra 15 and getting a proper chains breaker kit.

Never used a chain breaker before always used a grinder. Well fellas this thing is slick as butter taking the pins out. Just make sure you tighten the nut with a wrench or you will bend it if it's only finger tight.
