My husband and I went on a cruise earlier this year and I'm pretty frugal so I didn't want to pay to check a bag so I was looking for all things light weight and compact for our carry on bags. I saw a recommendation somewhere for towels similar to these. After some research I settled on this brand. I was not disappointed and we've taken them on several trips already. They fold/roll up pretty small and take up very little space in the suitcase. They're very soft. They're huge, which I love in any towel because I generally like to air dry, so I wrap up in my towels for a long time while I do my hair, put on sunscreen, etc. And they dry very quickly which is important because I hate packing anything wet for the trip home. I bought turquoise for myself and purple for my husband. They're both very nice colors. They also work well for sitting on the beach instead of packing a blanket. The sand doesn't stick to them much, even when wet. The tassels are a tad annoying, just because I'm not a tassle, fringe person, but I can live with it. They wrap nicely to wear over a swimsuit so no need for extra clothes to walk to the pool or beach. I am not a thin person and these are big enough to provide lots of coverage both around and in length. Overall, I'd buy again, but they seem pretty well made so I don't anticipate having to buy more any time soon.

We scheduled a snorkeling vacation in Curacao and wasn't sure if the vrbo would have beach towels. I washed the towels before we left and they were soft and didn't shrink. I wound up using it as a blanket on the flight, it became a light sheet to sleep under at the vrbo, and yes, it was a good beach towel. I suspect we will use it a lot when we go to the beach when we get back home. It folds compactly and is very light in weight. I consider this towel one of my better Amazon purchases.

I bought four of these in different colors and first off the colors were all very pretty. My family was traveling and didn’t want to pack bulky towels. The resort always has towels but it’s nice to have our own also if we decide to venture off to another beach. The towels were light weight, folded up very small and were very absorbent. They dried quickly even in the humid temperatures. We never had issues with having to use a wet towel. I also loved being able to tie it around my waist like a sarong. The only down side I would say is they aren’t very warm because they are so thin. There were a few times we got out of the water and it was breezy and wrapping up with the towel did not provide any warmth because they get pretty saturated if you are fully wet. I 100% will take them on vacation again. I did wash and dry the towels first and didn’t have an issue with shrinkage. They are a great (large) size.

After seeing a review for the “Sand Cloud” towel, I decided that I needed one. When I saw they were 40+ dollars, I decided the Amazon ‘WetCat’ version would do just fine. My beach life is changed!! This towel is AMAZING for brushing sand off quickly, an absolute MUST have if you have toddlers and try to clean their fingers before snacking at the beach. I use it for me, mainly once we leave the pool/beach and tie it as a skirt/dress around my body - it doesn’t slip off like other towels, and for how thin and lightweight it is, it is SUPER absorbant. Brushing the sand off my feet before getting into the car is a breeze, and fast! I will slowly be replacing all my beach/pool towels with these - maybe even the bath towels, too! 10/10 recommended to anyone on the fence.
