Works Perfectly
Easy to install, but I wish it had some instructions. Fits perfectly and correct lift for my Corvette's trunk lid.

Great replacement shocks.
These replaced a set of 50k mile FRC corvette trunk shocks which were completely tired.Installed in seconds with only a pick to assist the removal of the old ones. Time will tell if these will last as long as the originals did, however so far they are functioning perfectly.

C5 hood, trunk and convertible top struts
Work great, fit perfectly. Easy to install. Can’t believe I waited so long to change these supports!

Installation was easy. Fit 100%.
Make sure to get the correct length and weight lifting rating. Your old ones have the rating printed on the outside of the black colored cylinder. Maybe need a screw driver to help flip the bracket holding the old one on the pins where it mounts. New one simply snaps into place. Caution when removing the old one, the window/hatch may want to fall down / close.

Appears to be high quality
I replaced the trunk struts on the trunk of my C5 Z06. It took 5 minutes and I used an angled metal pick. A very noticeable improvement over the 21 year old ones. Very satisfied.

These trunk shocks are a perfect replacement for the originals and the price was even better.

Very easy install. It surprised me.
I thought it was going to be difficult and expensive as with everything Corvette. It cost $20Xs 2 and the trunk hood and engine hood no longer require propping it open with my head or a stick.
