Wow!
I looked all over for a wool hoodie, both in person and online. They were all either super expensive and/or had poor reviews (mostly due to poor quality wool/piling). This sweater is really amazing. It's super warm, very soft and perfect for layering. I normally wear a size 14, so I ordered the XXL (which I never wear in regular clothes...I normally wear a L or occasionally an XL). I was nervous it would be too big, but it fits great. I can layer underneath it, so I could have probably gotten away with an XL for a smaller fit. I haven't worn it very long, and I haven't washed it (hand wash only) so I can't attest to how well it stands up to wear and tear. I will update my review once I've worn it and washed it. This is an amazing wool hoodie for the quality and price!

Fantastic quality - worth the money
This is my second hoodie, I first bought one in 2017 and it has been my constant companion, especially when I travel. It keeps me warm and cozy on planes and is like a warm hug in the winter and shoulder season. It never pilled in all that time. It never shrunk when I washed it. It finally wore through on the elbow after 5 years and I bought another one the same week. Wouldn't be without it.

Better after washing
When I first received the hoodie, I almost sent it back. The fibers laid flat and it looked ok, but my arms were itchy after trying it on with a short sleeve shirt. I didn't want to wash it and affect my ability to return, but I wondered if my itchiness came from the dye or other chemical process. I washed it with Eucalan and vinegar and laid flat to dry. The result was that the sweater became fluffy, but not pilled, and the itchiness was gone. The sweater even seems softer after a wash and is much more acceptable than taken out of the package for me. It's well constructed, the zipper seems decent, and covers the waist band. My only caveat is that the sizing is not generous. I have a 42 inch bust, and I had to get the xxl and I'm only 5'5; the sleeves are not long at all barely reach my wrist which feels weird for such a large size.
