All is well with these power supplies
Update: As it turns out, this power supply was still working. The Viofo A119's GPS Logger Module was the problem. I didn't realize this until after I replaced the power supply and the camera still had intermittent failures. Apparently this is a known issue for the Viofo A119, which the company corrected with a new design (shortly after I bought mine). When I bypassed the GPS module and powered directly to the camera, it worked. The power supply was not the issue. My bad. Apologies to Arpenkin. Hopefully Amazon bumps up to 5 stars.Disregard everything below:I bought and installed 2 of these. Less than 6 months later one has ceased to function. All connections and fuses were carefully rechecked. This power supply is without a doubt the problem because the dash camera still works when placed in the other vehicle with the still-functioning power supply. This power supply has not been subjected to harsh conditions and has had very limited use. The car is garage-kept in coastal San Diego (not too hot or cold). Parking mode was never used. Car driven to church on Sunday (no joke) by my 81 yr old mom.Pros: When both power supplies were initially installed the voltage outputs were within specifications at the mini-usb connector. Yes, I measured it.Cons: Only 50% of devices still operating at 6 months under excellent conditions.Although these are not expensive devices, a proper hardwired & hidden installation takes time and effort. I've seen enough people compromise the A-Pillar air bag on YouTube with sloppy installs. Overall, I do not recommend this product because I do not want to re-install it over and over again.

Makes for a very nice clean install
I wanted to make a very clean installation of my wife dash camera so I looked around and decided on this unit. The cord was long enough and even though I had to connect it to the fuse box under the hood I had plenty of spare wire left. We installed it on a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I also bought an adapter where you take out a fuse, plug in the adapter plug and then the fuse you removed allowing you to then wire it much easier. It has been working great so I give it a 5 star.Take Care, GrandpaJake

Does not work with A1119
advertised as working with spytec A119, however, the screen flickers and then resets when plugged in. I suspect the power output or mini USB connector is not designed for the spytec A119.

Consistantly Perfect
I have been using these devices for years. Each one has been flawless. I use them to provide power from my 12v fuse box to the add-on electronics in my vehicles such as cameras, GPS, cellphones, dashcams, etc. The 5V cord is long enough to route around the inside of the windshield so no wires are seen. Install and forget. So simple. I will purchase more in the future. Just make sure you specify the proper 5V connector.

Worked well for my dash cam
Worked perfectly to hard wire my dash cam's installation. Have had no problems with it. And it beats the heck out of disassembling the dashcam's 12v adapter and hard wiring it into the fuse box! Spend the $10 on this hard wire kit. It's worth it.

It works and keeps working
I’ve put 3 of these in vehicles with G1Ws, and none have let me down. The longest one “in service” is going on 2 years, working perfectly. You can’t ask for anything else in a wiring kit. Installation is simple, but get yourself a fuse tap.

Good buy so far
I bought this kit to connect my camera permanently in my SUV. So far it has worked as advertised. Will edit post if anything changes for the bad. From current performance, I would recommend this.
