Very disappointed. It worked wonderfully for a few months. Then it broke. Since it broke it only makes what I would call 1/3 length ice cubes, and often those aren’t even frozen through. It seems like the pump isn’t pumping enough water up to the top level of the machine where the cold metal prongs sit in the water to form the ice cubes. So only the tips of those metal prongs have any water touching them to freeze. This results in a barely formed,1/3 of its former self, mock ice cube tip. Kinda heartbreaking after having it spoil us rotten by making really big beautiful ice cubes at first. I’m not sure why it stopped working properly. I’ve tried everything in the manual it says to do. We keep it clean and dry when not in use. It just didn’t hold up to regular use. So yes. This receives one of the only 1 star reviews given of my life. It’s just not worth it when it breaks so quickly.

It'd be a 4-star icemaker if not for the pointless countdown timer. Worse still, the lid doesn't tilt far enough back to stay open on its own. I'm also unsure whether the clean function actually does anything.Edit: I’ve downgraded this to 1 star. The design is flawed because the ice has a tendency to pile up along the wall to block the sensor well before the actual capacity is reached. I’ve had a few ice makers before this and it’s the first with that problem. The result is I’m often short of ice.It degraded even further and now barely produces any ice at all. I tried to get support via the 1-year warranty and it turns out there's no actual support. The website and phone number listed with Amazon is phony. Website doesn't work and phone leads to some social worker at UCLA medical center. SCAM ALERT.

Today, 3 months after purchase, the icemaker stopped working. The add water icon began blinking and nothing was happening. The machine shut itself off. Troubleshooter said to fill water to capacity and turn back on. I did that with the same result of blinking no water icon. I paid for a 5 year warranty in March 2021. I tried to call ULIT but their phone number was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE! By the time I wasted trying to find a customer service number, the machine must have cooled down ( I had it running for a few hours to stock up in the morning). I spent about 25 minutes away from the machine. Went back to it and turned it on and now it works again. I have no confidence in this machine. WHY IS THERE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE?????? I am so frustrated that I bought another icemaker by the company I used to have this morning as a back up (it will be here tomorrow). Another unnecessary expense. I am trying to hold off on buying a new refrigerator until next January so I don't need this added stress. I gave this 5 stars in March, now they get ONE. Apparently I'm not the only one with issues.Previous review: First batch came out perfect. Large cubes were shaped correctly. Very fast as well. I would highly recommend.

If you do own a samsung fridge, you know what I mean. For anyone else, samsung fridge be like Doc Brown's 1885 ice maker. The ULIT Ice Maker Countertop is an absolute game changer. Sure, it has other applications - parties, camping, etc. - but I wish I had discovered this years ago. Fast and easy to use, cool bullet-shaped ice - well worth the price. Two disadvantages - it is kind of loud, and the on button tends to stick - but to enjoy a glass of refreshing ice water in just 9 minutes, I feel like a king. 5 stars each on "flavor" and "warmth"? Yes, just because...

We purchased this unit due to our twenty-year old refrigerator/freezer having a faulty ice-maker. We figured this would be a good option, to make ice, and then quickly place it in the freezer, for use throughout the day. The first unit they sent, failed to make ANY ice!. The manufacture said it was just a faulty unit, and after we returned it (as suggested), they sent us a new one. This one worked for about 30 days, and then suddenly just quit! It’s now highly obviously that this product is ‘designed to fail’, and shouldn’t even be offered by Amazon! Now we are stuck paying a shipping and ‘restocking(?)’ fee, for our troubles???? If the manufacture of this product were legit, they would take FULL responsibility for their poorly engineered product, and cover all associated cost, but insted they make money off the customer, by charging them BS fees for making the HUGE mistake of accidentally doing business with them! (this is known as a ‘bait and switch’ SCAM!!!)If you don’t like losing money, I would avoid this product AT ALL COST!!!
