I’ve pushed and pushed but water always leaks into the inner chamber. Has anyone ever made this thing work?

I’ve learned to put the inner cylinder in, down as far as possible. Sometimes twisting it until it clicks helps. Then add water. If water does not leak at the bottom, fill and freeze. If it does, (with water still in) push down and twist the inner cylinder until it clicks in and the leak stops. Then dump water, refill and freeze. Works every time.

I froze over night and the container was frozen and no ice cubes

Since it is a little tricky to fill the outer container with the center sleeve in I am wondering if you had water to the top - which needs to happen for the cube pockets to fill and freeze. Good luck!
