Works Great For Iced Tea
I'd realized I'd not been drinking enough fluids and figured iced tea would be an affordable and tasty way to help with that. This jug works great for doing just that. There have been people saying there are troubles with leaks, but I've not had that issue myself.Important things to note:* Don't overfill the jug: When the jug is laid on its side, the tiny vent hole in the top of the lid needs to NOT BE BLOCKED BY LIQUID. Really, it's that simple. The most you can put into this jug for it to not leak is below the vent hole when it's tipped. Otherwise, you WILL experience leakage until enough has leaked out to bring the level below the vent hole. If your fridge tilts, you'll need to figure out what that level is, based on your fridge's level.* Be careful when tightening the lid: The lid cap comes with a white foam gasket that helps prevent leaks. If you tighten too hard, you can tear it, and then it'll leak. You can also accidentally block the vent hole (above) with the gasket, which will cause problems with the spigot. GENTLY twist the lid on the top, watching the vent hole to ensure it stays unblocked and being careful you're not twisting so hard you're shearing the gasket.Great jug for dispensing cold drinks for people who can pay attention to simple things.

They never got back to me. So so much for their 100% satisfaction guarantee
I make a lot of ice tea and was looking for a good item to make a lot in at one time. We have had such a mess with your product! Poorly designed : #1 when full tea squirts out the little hole on the top #2 when it gets down and there is still a lot of tea in it the spicket on longer works. #3 it needs to be tilted to get tea and then lifted and poured. #4 it is very heavy #5 AND IT LEAKS!!!! We got up one morning and had tea all over the fridge even had a puddle of tea in the basement! To give it one more chance we went over all the directions and checked all the fittings BUT this morning it leaked and the whole fridge needs a big clean up. Not a pleasant surprise on a Sunday morning. We think even though the lid is really tight that is where it leaks from. This was not cheap! And I give up never using it again! I never give poor reviews but this product deserves one! If you read all this thank you. Not a good

Solid glass dispenser for fridge
I read some of the reviews of this dispenser and I decided to buy it anyway. A lot of people were saying it leaks. However, if you fill it to the "fill line" which is clearly marked, and you screw the cap on tight, there's no issues at all. There is a tiny air hole in the cap and when you put the dispenser back in the fridge, if it sloshes around too much, a tiny bit comes out from the hole but it's really not a big deal. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that it's HEAVY and a bit hard to maneuver back in the fridge after filling it in the sink. Also, the spigot isn't as solid and heavy as I would like (it's a little cheap), but this is really the only glass dispenser out there if you're trying to get away from Brita or other plastic water pitchers for the fridge that lay horizontally. You really can't beat the size or the price on this one.

Vast improvement over previous tea dispensers
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I love iced tea and drink a LOT of it!! I wanted a nice pitcher and got a pretty acrylic one on Amazon but it was not a full gallon so I was making tea all the time. When this one came up on Prime Day I knew I found the perfect answer. I love that it is a full 1.5 gallon size although I only make one gallon so the tea does not come out the vent hole when turned on its bottom t fit on my refrigerator shelf. Some reviews said they dealt with leakage but I will say as others mentioned, as long as you follow the directions completely you won't have a problem with that. And be sure to use the orange device included in the packaging to get a good snug fit of the dispensing valve will help prevent any leakage. I think this the glass will be easier to clean and much more durable than my previous tea pitcher. I like the convenience of opening my refrigerator and having a glass of tea ready and waiting. I'm very pleased with this purchase and glad I found it at a bargain but I would have paid full price for the value I've gotten from it.

Leaks fairly often
This is nice because it fits in the refrigerator but after a few uses it starts to leak. Sometimes I can fiddle with the lid and get the leaking to stop but it takes *a lot* of fiddling and I often give up. I can keep it upright in the garage in the cold weather, but when the weather is warm, that's not an option. And it's the warm weather when I really want some iced tea! I do not recommend.

Not leak proof
I had such high hopes! I bought this because my husband can no longer find his favorite iced tea. So, he blends a regular tea and a sweet tea to get a similar taste. But mixing the different jugs together is annoying (read: he always makes a mess he doesn’t clean up) and the jugs are a little too tall for our fridge. This dispenser is very cute and the instructions are simple. But the cutout for the spigot is too close to the outer ring. This means it can’t be screwed on tightly enough to stop leaks.Do yourselves a favor and find another solution.

Fits on the topshelf of the fridge, keep my ice tea cold.
Fits on the top shelf of the fridge, keep my ice tea cold.Lid is NOT 100% leak proof! Liquid will leak out of the air hole if it is sloshing back and forth in the jar.Simple fix is putting your finger over the hole until the sloshing stops.

Love this, but hard to not spill
Bought one for myself and my daughter-in-law. Wonderful to look at, but tea would squirt out the lid vent hole when my husband would pour himself a glass. But, love the design so much, made a terrarium out of it.
