Aún a riesgo de sufrir un empacho, es imposible no darle 5 estrellas a esta colección de 7 volúmenes dedicada al nacimiento del country rock. Los diferentes discos siguen un criterio cronológico y cada uno de ellos se dedica a un año, comenzando en el 66 y terminando en el 73. Faltan algunos nombres ilustres por problema de licencias, pero lo que se incluye es canela en rama: Buffalo Springfield, Townes Van Zandt, Doug Sahm, Gram Parsons, The Byrds, Beau Brummels, Dylan, Gene Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Everly Brothers, The Band, Ry Cooder, Mickey Newbury etc. Todos ellos vienen con libretos en los que se incluyen abundantes fotos y anotaciones sobre las canciones. Se exprime al máximo el minutaje del cd y el sonido es fantástico, así que no queda otra que recomendarlo efusivamente.
