I'm a child therapist and parent and this is one of the most effective tools I've ever seen for helping kids with their social-emotional learning. While social-emotional learning is important in and of itself, it also sets the foundation for all other forms of learning and development. I’m always doing my best to help my kids in this area, and Stomp it Out makes it so easy. I’ve looked around for years and there are so few games out there that support kids with this type of learning. This game zeros in on it and teaches the skills in such a deep way. When kids are really having fun and able to move, they get into a headspace that allows them to absorb and learn better. The game sparks important (and adorable) conversations about children’s feelings and how they can identify and express them. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to connect with their children’s social-emotional development. I’m particularly grateful for it during these strange and trying times, when their needs are higher and my bandwidth is tighter. And when it's bedtime and they are tuckered out from moving around like every animal under the sun. Definitely our best quarantine purchase.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and mom of 2 young boys. We absolutely LOVE Stomp it Out and couldn’t recommend it more!!! The game instantly captivated my kids (and that’s hard for 2 boys 5 years old and under)! They were engaged right from the start, wanted to keep on playing, and truly had FUN. I have been looking for a way to help my boys express themselves after being cooped at home for so long, and this game has been a life saver! My boys love everything about the mats used in this game. They love setting them up (so easy and fun for them). They LOVE jumping/running/skipping/crawling from one mat to the other and they LOVE playing “musical mats” and “dancing” to the mat of their choice.I was truly surprised at how open, honest and insightful each boy was right from the start. They voiced feelings and concerns about ongoing and recent events (e.g., not wanting to share toys, being scared of the dark, disputes that happened during their first pandemic play date and even reflected on an argument that happened at school over a year ago). This game truly gives them an avenue to LEARN how they are feeling (which significantly reduces their frustration), and LEARN problem solving skills (which helps me SO MUCH at home). I can actually see how much lighter, happier and more confident they are after successfully differentiating and sharing their feelings.I like that Stomp It Out addresses so much of what is going on right now in addition to the typical challenges of being kid. This game can truly be used over and over again and every time we play we touch upon something new. We will definitely be playing this game for many years to come. I would love to use this game with my Speech and Language students in the future as well. The wonderful visuals and movement piece make for a perfect combination to engage any student. This product is great for students who benefit from movement during learning. I found that my students were very interested in the characters and what might have happened to them to make them feel the way they felt. I haven’t tried cleaning the mats yet, but I want to try because kids inevitably step on them and they are a little dirty. I haven’t used the solution cards yet, but so far I am happy with the product.

My students have been having a lot of difficulty with distance learning, missing birthday parties and friends, feel from far from family and feeling the stress their parents are under. I'm a school psychologist and I work with small groups of students in person and Stomp It Out has helped me and the students so much. The kids feel so much safer to express themselves and are having fun doing it. They are learning to express their feelings in fun ways and effectively problem solve, which makes things easier for them at home and at school. I love and appreciate the fact that it includes COVID related situations such as embarrassment with Zoom, but that it also deals with the day to day challenges of being a kid. The kids really enjoy coming up with creative ways to move from one emotion mat to the next. I highly recommend this to any school psychologist, teacher, or parent wanting to support kids emotional health right now!

Stomp It Out is amazing! I am a mom of 2 and am intentional about raising emotionally healthy kids. I love Stomp It Out. It allows my kids to freely share how they feel in such fun ways! It truly allows for the most important conversations we can ever be having with our kids and sets the stage for them to feel safe sharing. They love coming up with silly movements and the creativity there is endless. It’s incredibly helpful, hilarious and fun. I liked looking at the website for tips of what to say once they land on different mats too! Highly recommend.
