This product has a great concept. It's not yet fully developed but has potential. The pp doesn't work unless you are connected to the device and when connected it takes so long for the recorded Video to be seen if any at all. Whenever driving, the announcements does not get completed and fineshes in a buzzing at some point within the announcement. It has a serious lag time and is evident when driving and connected to the internal wifi.

Failed rear cam.Crashes 3 times a week.I have been doing some serious homework on good dash cams, I believe after hours of research and designing matrixes relating them to each other, that this item falls very low on the list.

Needs an interior camera with wide angle.

This thing is so awesome, it covers you if you get to close to the car in front of you, tells you about lane information talks to you while setting it up, unbelievable for the price! When you receive it in it's well packaged box, you'll find there's already a 16gb memory card installed, all the setting are prepared for the normal user (check and see!) the mounting hardware is in the box along with the rear facing camera and power cord. This will monitor your car and take pictures if somebody hits you while you shopping! And get this, you can wirelessly connect it to your smartphone or android device!Get one, it's just fun!

MERRILL Dash Cam Wifi Dual Cameras 2.0'' 1296P 170° Wide Angle with Parking Monitor, Loop Recording, G-Sensor, Remote Control Twice I purchased a Merrill CR3000S dual lens camera and both were defective! Let me explain:Upon receiving my first order, on June 23, 2017, I immediately tested it prior to installing it in my vehicle. I found that the rear camera was dead! It had no display on the front camera. After assuring its cable was properly plugged into the front camera I attempted to record a few minutes of video. I then inserted the memory card in my computer and checked each file. The front camera worked but the rear camera did not work.In an attempt to solve this problem I had several emails back and forth with the manufacture. This concluded with them asking me to return their defective Merrill CR3000S dual lens camera to Amazon and reorder it again.I reordered it again and finally received the second Merrill CR3000S dual lens camera on July 20, 2017. Once again the rear camera did not work. It’s currently being shipped back to Amazon.

I’ve got two of these cameras and both will take an hour to download then sometimes it comes up failed , in the year I’ve had them I’ve only mananged to download one file , I’m starting to think they are not fit for purpose .
