Weaver LeatherBasic Rope Bag

I like this bag. I like the spiral stay that keeps it upright and open when there isn't any rope in it. Super easy to feed rope back into since you don't have to hold it open.I was able to fit 200' of Petzl Flow 11.6mm and 150' of HTP Static 1/2" rope into it. Granted, the HTP has a stiffer hand, and the bag was pretty full. I wrap my steel core fliplines around it and use the straps to hang onto them. Great bag.

I give it a five-star because it's rugged, it's adjustable as in vertical it will collapse and you can fix it to your own liking. It has an enclosed top and it also has a piece of rubber that seats in the bottom of the bag.I have a 150 ft half-inch rope there's still some room left. I highly doubt this bag would hold 150 ft of 5/8" rope. Just in case if you're curious I'd move on.

Though I'm not an arborist. I bought this bag for my tow line on our boat. Most people that I watch trying to pay out a lot of line. It always gets tangled up. So I bought some double braid anchor line. And I have it stowed it this bag. I have not put it to the real test other than some test runs. The line flows in and out of this bag perfectly with no tangling. Just what my intent was. Size of this bag is good also. I have 150' of 1/2" line along with a tow bridle. Fits perfectly.

Honestly this back is pretty good for the money. Sad thing is I tore it the first day stuffing 200' of 5/8s rope into it. I sewed that rip on the top draw strip part and has been alright since anyone who's wondering will fit 200' of 5/8 stuffed to the gills more suitable for 1/2 is my guess

It’s shape holding design makes it easy to coil your rope as you put it away keeping it from being a tangled mess next time you need it. It can hold substantially more rope than the listed capacity. Durable material, collapsible design with draw string closure.

I can't say enough good things about this bag. Attractive, durable, and collapsible even though it springs (and stays) naturally expanded. Bottom panel can be removed so that it allows wet rope to drip dry. Held over 200 feet of 3/8 dyneema - couldn't be more pleased.

The bag is rated for 150' of 1/2" rope, but it will hold 175' easily. I like its ability to stand up rigid like a pail to spool the rope back into it. It's also one of the more inexpensive rope bags, which is not too shabby.

Its a good little rope bag. I have 3 and usually store 150 feet of half inch climbing or rigging rope. Also, I've dropped countless limbs on the bag, it doesn't even get wrinkles. I'm sure it can handle 200 feet of half inch but probably no more.

Decent rope bag! Best part about the whole bag is that the flap on top goes around the bag when putting your rope in, all other bags i have don't do this and it's a pain in the bum, very good bag, love it and love the color
