You need this razor in your life!!!!
Cannot speak highly enough of this single blade razor!!! It has truly been a game changer!! I have always had super sensitive skin and have battled ingrowns for years! I’ve tried every method of hair removal short of permanent laser hair removal and this is the only one that has worked long-term. I did my research on ingrown hair and realized that my typical shaving routine was causing them as my multi-blade razor was cutting the hair below the surface of the skin. I have had zero ingrown hairs since I started using it, and the ingrown hairs that I had from before are starting to go away now! And yes, I tested it, it’s even gentle enough to use down there ladies!! Just be extra careful if you’re using a brand new sharp blade!I’ve found there’s a little bit of a learning curve when you first start using it, as the angle you need to hold the razor at and the amount of pressure you use (none) are just different than a typical disposable razor. I’ve found it actually gets easier to use as the blade gets more dull, which is the opposite of what happens with typical razor blades! It actually does shave better in a lot of areas if you go with the grain of your hair. Make sure you read the directions before using for the first time as that was super helpful! The only thing I strayed from the directions on is I don’t use shaving cream and instead just use conditioner, as I always have, because it just works better. I am actually even able to just use soap or water sometimes now as the blade has dulled, which I would’ve never been able to do before without getting massive razor burn!! And I can tell that this blade is going to last a really long time, like they say it will!! So far, one blade has already lasted me as long as it would’ve taken me to go through two typical blade replacement heads for a normal multi-blade razor, and this blade is showing no signs of needing to be replaced any time soon! This has truly been one of the best investments I’ve made in my beauty routine for a while! Not to mention all the money this will save me in the long run with the replacement blades being as cheap as they are!! You need this razor in your life!!!

Gloss layer rubs off over time
Bought this in black in 2021 and coming back to get my 2nd one.Sadly, I had to throw this away while going thru TSA in May 2025.I like that there's no branding and that it came with a stand. However, the gloss does start to rub off over time (2yrs for me) revealing a more muted, dark grey color.I recommend you maintain it clean when you change the razor blade. I didn't really do this and over time, a white cast in the blade pocket developed from the shaving cream.Maybe the silver one won't have the gloss peeling and white residue issue.

Love it - shaving is now enjoyable
I love shaving now. I actually look forward to shaving. I love getting to switch out the blade knowing that the blade only costs 10 cents or so instead of 80-90 cents (the cost of a disposable razor cartridge). I used to try and stretch a disposable razor as long as I could since it was close to a dollar, but now that its like 10 cents to have a sharp blade, shaving feels so much better. plus its cool to see how close of a shave I can get. super great.

A Sustainable and Classic Shave for the Modern Man
The Bambaw Safety Razor offers a return to traditional shaving with a strong emphasis on sustainability and reducing waste. This black metal razor is marketed as a zero-waste alternative to disposable plastic razors and cartridge systems, making it an excellent choice for environmentally conscious men. 🌍♻️Key features and benefits:Sustainable & Zero Waste: The primary appeal is its eco-friendly design. The razor itself is durable and made to last, and the only waste produced is the recyclable double-edge razor blade. This significantly cuts down on plastic waste compared to modern cartridge razors.Metal Construction: The razor is made of metal, giving it a satisfying weight and durability that plastic razors lack. This can also contribute to a more controlled and closer shave.Double Edge Safety Razor Blades: It comes with an initial set of 5 double-edge safety razor blades, which are widely available and significantly cheaper in the long run than proprietary cartridges.Potentially Better Shave: Many users find that safety razors provide a closer shave with less irritation once the technique is mastered. The single, sharp blade cuts hair cleanly at the skin level.Cost-Effective Long Term: While the initial investment in the razor might be slightly higher than a disposable, the long-term cost of replacement blades is much lower.Classic Experience: There's a certain timeless appeal and ritual to using a safety razor that many men appreciate. The black color gives it a sleek and modern look despite its classic design. Learning to use a safety razor might involve a slight learning curve for those accustomed to cartridge razors, focusing on light pressure and proper angle, but many find it a rewarding experience. For men looking to reduce their environmental impact, save money on shaving in the long run, and potentially achieve a better quality shave, the Bambaw Safety Razor is an excellent and highly recommended option. 👍

Making the switch to a safety razor: First timer
I switched to a safety razor mostly because I wanted to cut down on waste, but also because I was tired of overpaying for plastic cartridge refills. The order arrived super quick. The first shave was a bit tricky. You really have to go slow and pay attention, or you’ll nick yourself. Definitely not as quick and mindless as using a regular razor. That said, the quality is solid. It feels durable and has some weight to it, which helps with control. From a sustainability perspective, it does feel better not tossing plastic every few weeks. Replacing the metal blades is cheaper too, which is a nice bonus. Overall I think it’s a worthwhile switch, especially if you’re trying to be more eco-conscious and don’t mind slowing down your routine a bit.
