Vivaplex, 12, Amber, 2 oz, Round Glass Jars, with Inner Liners and black Lids

I take a looooooooot of supplements, most in pill form but many in powder form. Some of those powders that I mix into water or shakes at specific times of day include pure individual BCAAs, vitamin c, a powdered green combo (wheat grass, spirulina, moringa etc.), creatine, DMG, as well as whey protein isolate, ground flax seeds, ground chia seeds, monkfruit, cocoa powder and so on. My daily regimen varies depending on if it's a weight training day, an active recovery day or a fasting day. That can be a LOT to assemble each time, so I have gotten in the habit of prepping my various A.M. and P.M. protein "shots" as well as my smoothie mixes for the week in advance and keeping them in snack sized zip lock bags. However, this not only feels wasteful week after week but the bags are messy and harder to fill. They also store awkwardly when full. That's where these jars came in. I decided to switch to amber jars (as some of my stuff is light sensitive), label them with my label maker and reuse them each week. Some of my mixes have to be refrigerated and these store well either in a cupboard or in the fridge. I'm really kicking myself for not doing this sooner! It saves me so much time and having to think and clean up powder messes multiple times a day when it's time for a shot or a shake. I just grab a jar labeled A.M., P.M. or Shake (I ordered the larger 4 oz jars for those), dump it in my cup or blender, mix and drink! EASY PEASY and SO clean and organized! I have a touch (ok a LOT) of organizational OCD so this is heaven for me! If you find yourself in a similar situation, I can't recommend these enough! I haven't used them for liquids and discarded the little cream lids they come with because I don't need them, but I love that they're included! They seem very high quality and well made. The glass is thick and the lids all fit securely and snugly. I can definitely recommend for storing powders or pills! I sincerely hope this review has been helpful for someone else! I love the amber glass jars for making my Lip & Under-eye Butter/Salve These are the 2 oz. which is the perfect size and amount to make handcrafted/handmade items. They look beautiful, nothing was broken & were packaged very well. I’ll keep buying these as long as the price stays low & quality stays the same.

I've read the negative reviews about lids cracking, and I think the dealer is getting a bum wrap on that issue. I bought these anyway because they fit my needs. I've had them for several weeks now and I've had no issue with the lids. I keep liquids in them such as mineral spirits and acetone and have tipped them over, shaken them and let them sit over night upside down, and nothing has leaked out and no lids have cracked. They come with a rubber/plastic cover with a simply tab to pull the thing off. It seals the jar. You screw the plastic lid on and just snug it. You don't have to screw the lid on so tight that even a grown adult would have trouble unscrewing it -- just snug it up against the rubbery plastic cover and all is good. That's my opinion on these jars. They're a nice solid glass so even gasoline wouldn't cause a problem with them. The white rubbery/plastic lid seems impervious to liquid acetone which normally eats up plain old plastic. I don't know what it's made of but it works great and seals in the liquid in the jar. It also protects the inside of the actual plastic lid. They certainly meet my needs, and that's my 2 cents worth on this great product.

These jars are the perfect size for homemade cosmetics. I used them to make my own vapor rub.

I like the jars but not the broken ones. Should have sent them back but I needed to use the good ones right away. They work well to hold the face cream I make for friends and family. I've ordered these jars before and like the amber color that protects the contents from light and the inner seal. Disappointed I lost two of them.

I make face and hand creams. The size and price of these jars make it possible to share these with my family and friends. I like that they include the inner lid which adds to the quality. I have purchased this product on several occasions because of their quality and affordable price. I will continue to purchase this quality product.
