(I'm only giving this one star because I had to in order to leave this review.) I use the AREX sinsin pas patches, & they're great. I use them all the time. I thought maybe I'd try the lotion to see what it was like. Very different lol.. Veeeerryy different. The smell is so strong it will drive your partner from your bed, but what's worse is the product burns your skin like you're in the fiery depths of hell. And you can't wash it off to stop the burning. It's a NO GO, never again, for me.

So a couple of discrepancies about the SINSINPAS Arex Cool & Hot Dual Powerful Pain Relieving Lotion I noticed or experienced. First and foremost is the box says it's citron scent which it definitely is not. Think more along the lines of that smell pepto bismal has. Two you initally feel that intense and powerful cooling of the lotion after you rub it into your skin BUT I honestly couldn't detect any sensation of warmth or heat.That said though if you don't mind the smell, which I don't as other lotions or muscle relieving pain I've used smell similarly, it works VERY well and fast. After applying it only takes a minute or two for that full on cooling feeling and 10-15 minutes later to start to feel relief from the pain. I used it on my neck and lower back and wasn't long before the muscle pain was gone totally. It's not greasy nor does it leave any noticeable residue on your skin. Important thing to note is WASH your hands after applying it to your skin because it WILL transfer to other areas if you were to rub your eyes or nose for example. I got distracted and forgot and later I mistakingly rubbed close to my eye. No harm was done but that tingling feeling started and I immediately realized my error and went to wash my hands. I gave the SINSINPAS Arex 4 stars due to it's effectiveness and how it performed but deducted 1 star because of the lack of heat sensation and the incorrect description on the box to what the fragrance of the product is. Would have loved and welcomed having it actually smell citrusy so yeah kinda sad about that lol.

Depending on severity of pain this works just as well as others in likeness and comparable to quality and price. This did give a cooling effect then some heat When applied to knees and hips. That lasted a few minutes and pain relief lasted maybe a few hours. I applied to lower back did not have any results. It does have a medicine like menthol smell with slight citrus very similar to other brands. I have tried everything out there and finally went to hemp-based or essential oil based creams because those were consistent in pain relief. more natural and no medicine smell. I did have a scent and residue on hands after applying which is normal for any pain relief cream. Overall, it did as supposed to its just not for me, I do not like the scent or that cool hot sensation. Directions and information on package and box, more information/pictures in listing.

I have arthritic knees, so I’ve used more than a few topical products to help. I was hoping that this product would have a ‘less medicine-y’ smell so I could more easily use it on a plane or before attending a concert.While this does seem to work like others in its category, it doesn’t deliver on its claim of no medicine-like odor. Before I even opened the bottle, I could smell that familiar medicinal scent.Other than that, it’s a reasonably priced product that seems effective.

This lotion isn't subtle in any way! You'll notice the smell as soon as you open it. To me, it smells medicine-y, like some sort of gross liquid medicine I had to take as a kid. Maybe mixed with stale cigarettes. I'm not really picking up on the "citron"Fortunately, it's also noticeable how well it works. Within a minute of applying a small amount to my achey back, the tingling started and I felt quick relief. It wasn't just superficial relief either -- it really seemed to work at a deep level.In the past, I've used medicated patches for back pain, but this liquid is much more flexible -- you can apply it exactly where you need as much or as little as you need.Due to the scent, I won't be using this when I'll be in public or around people who I like. However, nobody can smell you on Zoom so this is my new work-from-home pain relief solution.

This is effective pain relief from sore muscles. It is a cream and rubs in easily. The smell is very strong at first, but does go away. The box had a tamper evident top and it also has a expiration date. The expiration date on my box is December 2024, so it has a lot of shelf life left. I feel it is a little expensive per ounce. However, it worked well on my sore knees and back, so I would still recommend this.

Once thing I noticed is the strong menthol scent. It did stay on my hand even after I tried to wash it off so I kept smelling it. But, my spouse didn't smell it on my when I used it on my hip.I like the heat/cooling effect this has. Seemed to have worked really nice with pain relief.I just might put it on using a paper towel so it doesn't get on my hand.I'll continue using this.
