SOOOOO CUTE!!!
My husband bought the Lego bonsai, and it looks really sparse and basic to me. I was thinking about buying another one + a kit of offbrand spare botanical parts to do it up my way, but then I found this little bonsai and decided to take a chance on it, for the way smaller price. So happy I did! It's made of minibricks, so it's not compatible with Legos. Suits me fine, bc I like minibricks better anyways because of the finer details & smaller finished size. It's shipped from overseas, so delivery takes a while. Mine came in an unpadded mailer bag, so it arrived a bit damaged. The box is holographic and embossed, which is really luxe! The artwork on the front didn't get damaged, so I'm thinking about cutting it out and framing or using it in some kind of craft, bc it's a shame to toss it. 🤣The pieces come in 4 baggies, and you need pieces out of 3 of them right away, so they're not sorted in the order that you need them. The pieces are very high quality, and nicely finished. They snap together securely. The kit does come with a mini brick puller to help get them apart if you mess up (but it won't help you with the smooth bricks or the foliage, all of which are practically impossible to disassemble once they're together). There were a few areas throughout the build that I thought could have been more secure, but once it's finished everything holds together without issue and feels pretty solid. Instructions are fairly clear, and comparable to Lego instructions. In general I felt like some of the pieces were more creatively utilized than I've seen in name brand Lego kits. It's a 3~4 hr build, and putting the foliage on is especially delicate and fiddly work. Maybe not the best for big manfingers. You don't get much freedom to freestyle the foliage bc it fits together in a very particular way. I'd recommend following the instructions to the letter, and then going back and rearranging whatever you want once it's done and you see how it fits together. I wasn't missing any pieces, and there were lots of spare parts when I was done. I did end up working all of the spare foliage bits into it. I even wish it came with a few more, especially the lime green leaves.Pro tip: The flowers come in 2 shades of pink, and I didn't realize at first that the instructions do differentiate between them, bc you don't use any of the deeper pink ones in the early steps. Don't start peppering in darker pinks everywhere early on, or you WILL run out by the end!I'm so happy with the finished product that I may order the little succulent kit as well, even though I don't like it as much based on the photos. The same company also makes 3 little bouquet kits, 2 of which I was able to find here on Amazon after some searching.

Final product does not look like what’s advertised
I don’t even realize that the product I received is not what’s shown on this listing. As you can see this looks like a different set. Nevertheless it was an easy and enjoyable set to put together. I received all the parts. The directions need to be refined. You should definitely attach the flowers that need to be pushed down inside the claw legos before you plug the rest in. Otherwise the flowers would fall off.A good set. Please change your sample photo.

Super Cute
I was so excited to get this product in the mail. This little succulent garden is so flipping cute. It does take a while to put together. It took me about 5 hours tota. Sometimes it was a bit frustrating and i wanted to throw it against a wall. When you are going to attach a completed succulent piece to the base, other pieces start to fall off. That is my only downside about the review. I really started evaluating my life when this was happening because i was so frustrated. Once you figure out how to assemble carefully without other things breaking, its extremely satisfying when completed. The pieves are so tiny, so your fingers will hurt a bit after, but this is definitely worth getting.

Fantastic product
I bought this as a birthday gift and I was a little nervous since I've never heard of this brand. Box was a little dinged up when it arrived. The product itself is great. My friend absolutely loved it. The The finished product is beautiful. I highly recommend.

Cute but very small and confusing directions
I like the cuteness of it once put together but the piece is quite small and directions weren’t as clear as Lego’s, which this is very similar to.

The Off-Brand...
When I bought this (with LEGO held in my brain for a frame of reference) I was willing to settle for some compromises in manufacturing. I was expecting a lower-quality plastic and uncomfortably-small pieces, but what really set this score into stone was the poor design of the finished set. This set continuously instructs you to stack pieces in ways that don't support/reinforce each other. These poor designs result in a fragile and flimsy finished build, too delicate to put anywhere that might be knocked over by a stray breeze. If you're curious about a low-commitment building toy that isn't LEGO, there are worse choices than this. But if you have the choice, stick with the name brand.
