Fast Relief for Tinea Versicolor!
This soap worked quickly to reduce itching and discoloration. The sulfur formula is strong but gentle on my skin. After a few uses, I noticed real improvement. Great for daily use and very effective!

Phenomenal soap! No-one wants to hear about my skin, but...
...this really is an unusually effective product. I've had recurring skin problems, including tinea, for decades, and have used lots of treatments--some successful, some not great. Since the most effective treatment I'd found (prescription selenium sulfide 2.5% lotion) was so nasty to use, I usually let the tinea go too long before treating it--the lotion definitely works, but it smells horrible, contaminates everything, and can really burn your skin if you leave it on too long, especially where the skin folds. That was a problem with my latest episode, when my eyelids developed scaliness and darkening that was making me a bit desperate: it was so bad it seemed like it must be something other than tinea (psoriasis? eczema? bacterial? mites? still not sure...), but since I knew sulfur soaps help with all sorts of skin problems, and my usual go-to lotion would be much too harsh to use on delicate skin, I tried this soap. After two weeks, I'm astounded at how well it works: the scaliness on my eyelids is almost gone, the discoloration seems to be fading, and the rest of my face--even my cracked lips--has a much smoother texture and more even tone. Skin feels very clean and, while slightly dry, much calmer overall, with less redness. (I'm guessing this treatment is helping with other skin conditions I hadn't been focused on--rosacea? Hard to tell with a ruddy, freckled complexion.)The soap does not burn your skin: I was cautious about leaving the lather on too long, but eventually found it caused no additional inflammation or peeling, and definitely works better that way. I can live with the scent, considering the benefits. Expensive, definitely: but I'm just so surprised at finding a product that actually works, I seem to be willing to pay extra--just ordered more. This is the fourth sulfur soap brand I've bought on Amazon, and hands down the best in every way.

Think it Works
I have had discoloration on my back and trunk for years! I think this soap was working. I only used it 6 times, but then stopped because I started feeling itchy. I think it works, but my skin is too sensitive.

Just Got it and rating for people interested in Smell specifically
It stinks, if you are wondering like "Oh ho hum, should I buy this" just be aware that it smells kinda similar to burnt hair but a gassy burnt hair smell, that's sulfur .persosnally, I only have used it once so far (just got today) and used it at night and tbh I'm glad I didn't use it before the day started because even with using another soap (tea tree oil based + mint) I'm not 100% sure that the sulfur scent is gonna subside.I think I read somewhere that ppl think that the sulfur smells goes away after a short period of time. I wouldn't bet on that since that's probably more than likely just olfactory fatigue setting in (your nose goes blind because the molecules of the scent are too big basically). The weird thing is that after using this soap I noticed all sorts of other discoloration appear besides the stuff on my skin I already was aware of so I suppose that could be a good or bad thing, I'm not sureI think it does a decent job on the lather as well which is good considering the price, you don't need much.At the end of the day nobody is going to be buying this because they like the scent, seriously you won't smell good. I have no idea if this works on my skin and I've tried a lot of different products so far OTC over the past 4 years but if this works then I'll be ok with it.I won't be using this 2x a day though, absolutely NOT! Going to work with even the slightest bit of scent from this soap is going to make people look at you like you have a problem. That's my rant

Not strong enough to cure rash
Didn’t cure my rash, had to go to dermatologist to get the stronger soap.I do love the exfoliant side, though!

To my surprise, it works.
I've had Tinea Versicolor for 54 years! It's always been easy to control without a dermatologist. But not this year, I had a very severe outbreak. My only relief was this soap! I washed twice a day; let it sit for a couple minutes (brush your teeth to make sure you let it sit.) It smells nice, leave the skin soft not dry. The bar is a good size and latest about 3 weeks. I can safely use a tanning booth for the required UV rays for skin care.

Cleared up Tinea Versicolor fast
I should have taken before and after pictures! I really did not think this would help my tinea versicolor which usually covers my back but for some reason now started spreading behind my knees, my chest and other areas. This soap cleared it up within a week completely gone. Please try it is is worth it!
