You can trace anything, underline anything, and it looks great and professional on work station. Pretty sheer, but not crazy. It sticks for a while without damaging surfaces. Good deal, and great product.

I LOVE to mark up books, especially my Bible, but always run out of room. These removable tabs are a great way to journal my insights as I read/study. As reviewers said, use a BALLPOINT pen, so writing doesn’t smear. I write my notes, let ink dry for a moment on the pad, than adhere to the page. No smears or bleeds that way. The selection of sizes is good for me.

These are amazing for tracing models and diagrams in notebooks, or adding little side notes to a passage, but do not press your fingers on the post-its. The oils from your fingers seem to add a layer that doesn't allow for ink to be applied anymore. My writing would constant wipe off after letting it sits for a couple minutes. After learning this I am just cautious on how I apply these to my textbooks.

I purchased these as a gift for our granddaughter who is a premed student. She found these to very helpful. She loves there versatility. I will be purchasing more!

I am a teaching assistant and bought these to annotate books without covering them in ink. Here's What I learned:Negatives:• Not the size of a regular sticky note• Felt tips WILL smear even if you give it time to dry (so highlighters, Staedtler felt pens, and the like are all out).Positives:• Pencils and Ballpoint pens stick really well to these stickies. You may need to let the ballpoint pen dry for about 30 seconds, but that's about it.• The notes are a mid-size sticky, so they fit well in books and are still helpful for those that are trying not to mark up their texts too much.Worth the price?I think so! Still sad I can't use felt tips, though, since that was the purpose of buying them...

I think the idea of transparent sticky notes is really genius. I find these helpful for my bio notes when I’m trying to copy down certain images to put into my notes. The only thing I’d say is that a lot of pen smudges. The sticky notes have more of a “plasticky” feel to it so not many of my pens stay on it. I fixed this problem just by using a thin sharpie so other than smudging, these are very cool!
