Item was as described and very reasonable.

Easy to carry, locks and large enough for all my personal documents. It would probably be easy to break into, but if you are looking to lock up secret documents then you should probably get a fireproof safe.

Works perfectly and is more stylish as my take along file box for consulting.

Perfect for my needs, neat, clean, sturdy and businesslike appearance. Good for household files, but I think not fire resistant. May need an actual safe for securing really important documents. Quite satisfied.

We ordered these locked boxes and they are great. Very nice looking and sturdy. The picture doesn't show it, but there's kind of a big handle on top. So it's nice for carrying, but they do not stack very well. So if you want to stack them, you may want to think about that. The handle that I didn't see and the instructions on resetting the lock are the only things that I don't like about this product.The box comes with this really small piece of paper with instructions on how to reset your lock. I noticed in reviewing this product on Amazon that there were some complaints about not being able to reset the locks and some horror stories told! And I think that's because the instructions are not very clear.The instructions say to push the button in the direction of the arrow and hold down while you change your combination. So looking at the product, there's an arrow on the button. So I push the button in the direction of the arrow. Well that doesn't work! They are actually referring to the arrow on this small instruction sheet which is the opposite direction. So you actually push the button on the product itself in the opposite direction of the arrow on the box. Resetting the lock works great if you do it right.I would recommend this to anyone needing a secure file tote. Although, I think I should have gone for the bigger one now! But maybe I'll just go ahead and get another.

Yes it has locks, no ots not meant to hold up to people trying to break in. It's more of a deterrent than an actual "keep out" method. Great box for what it's meant for!

Update: Reordered with super quick delivery. Perfect!disappointed. This would have been perfect for our needs but the locking feature (the main reason I bought it) didn't work. To set your code, you push & hold the button to the right and are supposed to be able to set your code. I did this and the numbers wouldn't rotate past the default zeros setting. I tried it on both keypads and then even tried doing them simultaneously. Nothing worked. I like it enough to give them another chance. Fast shipping too. I'm returning for a exchange. I will update this review when I receive the next one.

This is a fine case and sturdy, not made from cardboard, but not something a determined person couldn't break into with a screw driver either. I got it because I didn't want to buy a whole filing cabinet, but the old cardboard file I had wasn't big enough anymore.My main beef is that I got the "Ampad Envirotec 100% Recycled Colored Hanging File Folders, Letter Size (8.5 x 11), Assorted Colors" with it, and they were too narrow for the rails. I used some pliers to bend out the rails a bit and they work alright, but it's not optimal. I don't know if this thing is built too wide, or if the folders are too narrow, but one of them is broken.The lid stays open on its own if you open it all the way (just past 90 degrees).As for the pockets up at the top, the pen slots are too tight for anything but the skinniest little pens. There is a small pocket that's are good for business cards and ids and a larger one that fits my passport perfectly. Behind them is a larger deep pocket which is hard to get into, the lip of the lid is in the way, however at least things don't fall out of it.

This case is perfect. It holds alot and the quality is excellent.I would purchase again!

Box itself was excellent. However it was difficult to find hanging files that fitted correctly as I do not live in the US.
