Lovely wooden clock...good craftsmanship, carefully packed, easy to follow instructions...keeps good time and I don't have to pull the weights up every day or even every 3 days (which I would eventually forget to do I am sure)...runs very quietly and can be easily set to silent if needed. I enjoy the variety of music on the hour also. If you want a lovely piece of wall decoration, plus time keeper and don't mind the quartz movement this is a great clock

Sweet little clock. Plays a variety of different songs and all the little people come out on the hour. I’ve never had a cookoo clock so I can’t compare the difference between this battery run one and a wind up clock.

I purchased this clock as a gift for my wife more than a year ago. It’s been keeping accurate time ever since. A few things to note: 1. The weights are decorative only and are made of plastic. They don’t move. 2. You can only turn the hands clockwise to set the time. This means you’ll need to spin the minute hand 11 times at end of daylight savings time. In the spring you just need to do one rotation to skip ahead an hour. The animation and music are still going strong and I’ve yet to change the batteries.

This is a nice clock and easy to set up. My clock came without the pendulum. At this point a few weeks later, I'm not sure how to fix matters.

I received the clock in good time and in good shape. I was thrilled when I opened it and saw it in the box because it's everything I wanted. The chopping guy, the dancers and of course, the coo-coo clock. The coo-coo bird has a strange coo-coo sound, but that's okay. Then the music comes on everything works well, the chopping guy, the water wheel and the dancers. I don't hear it at night, so the night mode works well. The house itself is wooden. The little cones that hang are plastic which is okay because they are for decoration only. There's a cute dog and other decor that adds to it. Growing up, my German neighbors had one and I always admired it. So now, I've got one too! :-) Bonnie.

Wonderful detailed craftsmanship. However when box was opened the small doghouse on the side of the clock was loose in the box. I had to glue it back .

I've purchased an expensive cuckoo clock when I was in Germany a few years back. I loved it, but one day it fell and never recovered. Because we had to pull the chain every day, it became something we forgot to do and therefore, when trying to update the clock we lost, we tried a really cheap one and hated the sounds it made and it didn't even have a fake chain. This clock is everything we wanted and it is just so beautiful to look at. We love it!

Family has really enjoyed it,. The children are fascinated. Bought as a 90th Birthday present for my father-in-law. It turns off at night which is very good due to a light sensor.

Authenticity speaks for itself. Pricey though you can see difference from those who copies them.
