Classy.
This luggage rack will add a beautiful look to the back of your bike. Not only does it have looks but it has functionality. The chrome is very sturdy and very strong. The first rack like this I had for 10 years, it was time to buy another. I got my money's worth. My bike was shed and garage kept. Well worth the money.

touch of class
I have a spoiler on my 2008 gold wing but did not order the risers. It sits just above the spoiler and looks great. The shipping was fast, installation was not bad sense I hesitate to do my own add on, but I did and it went great and fit perfectly. It took me about two hours but anyone that enjoys doing their own add on could do it in half the time. So far everything looks great and is keeping its shine.

Nice rack but seems to lack the typical Kuryakyn quality
The rack was packaged super nice, with no possiblities it was going to get harmed (unless a gorilla got ahold of the package) in route. Once I pulled the product out I noted it seemed a bit flimsy and not quite as nicely chromed as I was expecting. Even my dear wife, who is not really into motorcycles or motorcycle assessories, noted the same general thoughts as I was having. One item of particular attention was the sticker on the center piece (where the rubber inlay is) which stated something like "Should not be used for more than 5 lbs". Each time I looked at the sticker (until I peeled it off) I thought "They must be joking, 5 miserable pounds." Well, I hope they just had the sticker there because their liability insurance carrier told them to put it there because there ain't no way I'm going to limit myself to 5 lbs. Maybe 15 lbs, but not 5. Anyway, since I'm used to buying used parts (I couldn't find a used Kuryakyn rack) it seems as though these things are overpriced. But honestly, the price I picked this one up from this dealer was the best I could find anywhere so I won't complain too much. It's now on the Wing (really not too hard to install after watching a video on YouTube), it looks good, is way functional and so I'm happy.

Absolutely Love it
Great product, looks great. Reco you make and drill the rear two holes. Verify fitment, then mark and drill the front two holes. The angle of the whole matters, so be prepared to "widen" the hole to ensure the screws tighten properly. Final product looks awesome.

It's close to a high quality prodict, but you might need some extra tools
The rack itself is very nice. Sleek and stylish, and it compliments the lines of the bike. Quality control was lacking. The screw holes were not tapped properly and the screws jammed up. After a trip to Lowe's to get a 10x24 tap and some new screws, it went in just fine. A little supplement to the installation instructions: After drilling the 4 holes in the case lid, It is necessary to install the case lining, then drill through the rear holes down through the lining, then remove the lining, install and tighten the 2 front screws, then reinstall the case lining, as the 2 rear screws go through the lining. A diagram or a picture would have been nice. That said, once installed, it's pretty slick. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but just finished up so I'm in something of a foul mood about the QC. Hope the manufacturer reads this and takes the simple steps to convert it into a 5 star product.

Nice Luggage Rack
One has to like the look and style to lay out that much money for the rack. It takes some thought to purchase this when you can purchase the tube style for almost 1/3 of the cost. That said, I did spend the money with no one forcing me to do so, and the rack looks great and sets well on the trunk lid. I used the riser kit also to allow more space for cleaning. Kuryakyn makes great products and sometimes you have to spend a little more money to get what you want. The matching bag sits well on the rack also.
