Budget sausage and good quality
Safety buoy was a required item and this one did the trick. No bell or whistles and manual inflation but it's solid and dependable.

It worked and did what I needed when I needed it.
Was in Cozumel and used this while I was on my drift dives. It seemed like I was one of the few people to have my own on me but I figure may as well have it because the one the guide sent up was not standing out of the water and by the time I had gotten near it I probably would have ended up tangled in the line. This works very easily and I just kept it clipped on to my BCD during the dive. When I broke the surface I undid it and inflated. My main issue is it can be a bit of a pain to inflate and deflate. The spring that seals the valve shut is a little on the strong side but since I only end up using it a couple times a day and a few days out of the year I am not going to knock off for that. Not to mention that this works the same as the ones that cost more anyway.

Decent SMB, also can be used as DSMB with caution
Basic and sturdy SMB. Good value. The plastic holder clips is tiny and rather useless. It is impossible to unclip it directly from a loop, but this is a minor issue, since I prefer larger (glove-friendly) hooks. It is only orally inflatable. It also can be used as a DSMB with care and caution. A full inflation at safety stop depth might cause it to burst at the surface (don't know whether the inflation valve has overpressure safety mechanism?). It also doesn't have a weight attached to the bottom, and one has to pull on the rope slightly to ensure that it is upright on the surface.

It's what I expected for the money. Nothing fancy and easy to use. Easily fits in pocket on BCD.

Good for the price. It should be used as very low and far last resort alternative to your main high quality SMB or maybe the last spare unit that can be fit due to its small size
