Just right.
Other jerkies I've tried are thicker cut and soft. Oberto is a little cut a little thinner and provides a much more satisfying chew than Brand X. I also tend to like the original flavor the best. YMMV.

i have made better jerky but one of the best commercial
I like it.When I am going to be away from home and miss a meal I often carry a small bag of this beef jerky along with dried fruit and pecans to tide me over until I can get home and eat properly. This jerky is made with a dry rub instead of soaking the strips of meat in a marinade.I much prefer the marinade method to a dry rub but this works. If you want to make your own jerky here is the marinade I made for my homemade jerky.1/4 cup (60 ml of the following.Worcestershire sauceSoy sauce or teriyaki sauceWine (optional)1 tsp (5 ml) of the followingSaltPepperTobasco sauce3 tablespoons (45 ml) brown sugar.Mix well and add your meat (I preferred sirloin steak) and soak over night. Most people recommend round steak but I found this to be very tough and almost no flavor.

Good but with flaws
Price: 5/5 - Most jerkies especially decent ones cost far more than this.Flavor: 5/5 - Subtle teriyaki with great meat flavor but depends upon preference, for me it was amazing.Consistency: 2/5 - Awful, simply awful. Some pieces were very moist and tender while others were much more dry and a bit hard.Ingredients: 4/5 - Clean and safe ingredients but way too many carbs for jerky. With such a large amount of carbs I expect a much more potent flavor. It's not that I need an intense flavor, I would just prefer less carbs.I will probably order this again since it's so much cheaper than other brands on amazon.

Beef jerky that's all natural with no preservatives
Beef jerky that's all natural with no preservatives? How could it be anything but 5 stars? Highly recommended. I've never tried Jack Link's because it has preservatives. So I don't know how Oberto compares to them in terms of taste. But I tried the all natural beef jerkies from Trade Joe's. They taste about the same. So I'm going to assume they are not much different.

Great jerkey
This jerkey is really good. I had no complaints about it. It had a moist taste that never got old and I could sit there and eat tons of it if need be. Go get yourself a bag or 2 (as I did) and sit down to a movie or video games at home.

YBMV (your bag may vary)
I would have loved to give this a 5star however the bag I received contained literally 2-3 pieces of "medium" at best strips of beef jerky. The rest were little bits that resembled crumbled bacon. The flavor is good and texture is great, but when I eat jerky I prefer more full pieces of meat.

Oberto jerkies are the best..
Been eating for decades for camping, hiking and working out in the woods. Love the sweet and spicy, bbq and teriyaki ones. Kudos Oberto, keep up the good work.

Five Stars
Tasted like beef jerky! Not something that can be said about a lot of beef jerky brands
