Taken my baking to a new level
I've so far only used it for my sourdough baking and it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to season and clean.Today's bake in picture. White spelt, rye, pain de compaigne. Left to right.

Excellent pot
Firstly this pot is a beautiful colour - I bought the red one and it's just gorgeous to look at. It's heavy (as you'd expect a cast iron pot to be!) but it's easy to use with big handles on the side. I've cooked pot roasts, stews & casseroles and I've also slow-cooked multiple larger joints like shanks/oxtails, etc and it's just perfect for all of these. The non-stick is excellent and makes it very easy to clean afterwards. I've used mine many times and it still looks brand new after being washed. Superb quality and value.

Heavy, sturdy, bakes bread amazingly well. The kind of thing that, with care, will last a lifetime
I recently bought Ken Forkish's 'Flour Water Salt Yeast' as part of an attempt to make my own sourdough bread at home, while in the lockdown we're all experiencing. The book says I need a dutch oven – so I looked around for a suitable candidate.Having seen many of the alternatives, I landed on this one, and while I was hesitant at first to purchase it, with a higher price, I'm very glad now that I chose this. It's big, really well made and heavy. It's enamelled and pre-seasoned cast iron meaning it's pretty much good to use and has great non-stick qualities. It holds heat really well, and the cast iron lid has little pimply things under the lid which serves to drop condensed moisture back on to whatever is in the pot.I use this for bread making a few times a week, and have yet to explore other things it can do, but I am very confident it can handle casseroles, curries, bologneses, stews and many other things you use a pot for with ease.If you're looking for a solid, cast iron dutch oven which will last a long, long time – get this one.

Excellent cast iron casserole pot
This was a birthday present as I wanted to make sour dough bread and didn't have an effective pot. It is very heavy as one would expect of cast iron, but does its job and more. It bakes uniformly without burning my sour dough bread, as well as delicious on stove casseroles, perfectly searing whatever you want first. The lid is used as a frying pan - again excellent heat distribution and the fact that they give you a silicone stand and holder when you remove it from heat (much better that a tea towel or other type of oven mit) makes all the difference. Oh and easy to clean too!

Dutch oven for baking bread
It looks good, it bakes bread with a good crust, but it’s very heavy - as cast iron needs to be to be effective. As you need to take off the lid while it’s very very hot, don’t align the handles on the base and the lid, stagger them so that the lid is easily lifted.

I love this!
This is a wonderful functional cast iron Dutch oven. It’s very versatile & can be used with care outside. It’s been too hot weather wise to use for soups & curries & such like, but with autumn coming in, it’ll be put to good use.. Having said that, my son has used it for cooking up various veggie stews with great success, I think his girlfriend was fairly impressed lol. I’ve used the lid for drop scones with excellent results. The multi use ability of the lid is what prompted me to pay more for this. I clean it with very hot water whilst it’s still hot from cooking (I work in a kitchen so am more used to dealing with heat but maybe whilst it still warm for those less heat tolerant, followed by a wipe over with oiled tough kitchen towel) Yes it’s cast iron so it’s heavy, but if this isn’t a concern for you then I thoroughly recommend it.

For me, good buy
The cast iron pot and lid seemed a very good deal for me when I compared it with a much-talked about and known competing brand which cost more than twice the amount.Being cast iron the pot is quite heavy and so is the lid. I appreciated that a small silicone mat and silicone pads (to hold the handles) were included. They protected me quite well and look nice. The pot was very easy to clean. It's not Teflon but nothing has stuck on it just yet. Just a note that I will probably need to season it eventually as I have cooked acidic food (tomatoes) in it which slowly eats away the non-stick properties. (because of this don't stick in the dishwasher)I am just a hobby cook and find the distribution of heat very good and if looking at the above criteria can definitely recommend it. Hope these words help someone.

This is a masterpiece
I have purchased the Uno Casa 2in1 Dutch Oven. I have to say it is an incredible product. Not only is it a 5 quart cast iron camp stove, but it also has a frying pan lid so you can easily convert it into a large frying pan. The Dutch oven is pre-seasoned which helps it maintain its nonstick surface so you can enjoy food with half the mess. The enamel coating is also great as it allows for easy cleaning and greater durability of the product. I have used it for baking bread and it was a breeze. The heat distribution is on point and I had no problems with burning or uneven cooking. I also appreciate that the Dutch oven comes with a lid rest so you can store your lid without getting it dirty. The elegant black design is a great touch and it looks beautiful on my stove top. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality heavy-duty cast iron Dutch oven.

Makes great dutch oven bread!
This dutch oven makes lovely crusted bread and seems well constructed! So far that's all I've used it for so I can't comment on other uses.

IF you are competent, this is a great tool
Well-made, well-priced. It'll fry, deep-fry, sautee, braise, simmer, boil, roast, bake, stew. It'll fill in for a wok, or even a small roaster. I could even make a cake or pie in it, if I want. What it won't do is be a cheap, sorry teflon-coated warpy-thing that requires no "icky" oils or fats. If that's what you want, you don't want this, and you're not a cook. If you are a cook, you'll like this tool. I wouldn't choose it over open wood-fires, because I already have really good, old cast iron vessels. In the house, there's not much it won't do well.
