Finally, a Fine-Mesh Bombilla
This works great for loose-leaf tea blends and is excellent for yerba mate. Many traditional bombillas I tried in the past let fine yerba mate particles through, which was always unsatisfying. Years ago, I found a little-known product called the Ultimate Bombilla (see photo) that finally solved this problem by using a fine mesh filter, and it cost about $2.50. It worked extremely well for me, but it was plastic, not very attractive, and not designed with cleaning in mind. I always wondered why that fine-mesh concept hadn’t been redesigned in a more modern, practical bombilla. This JoGo does exactly that. It filters just as effectively, looks far better, and is much easier to clean. It is a bit on the expensive side, and I initially thought the cup would be included (it isn’t), but even so, it’s still worth it to me as an avid tea drinker. I don’t use it for coffee, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, I’m really pleased. Time will tell how the silicone mouthpiece holds up, but so far it’s been great.

Dad’s morning routine lifesaver!!! ☕️🙏
My kids, I am sure with no help from my wife 😉, finally got tired of watching me "borrow" mom's coffee gear and surprised me with my own JoGo for my birthday, complete with a tip matching my favorite mug they got me for Father’s Day. As a father of four wonderful chaos-makers, this little device has revolutionized my morning coffee routine. Between school drop-offs, soccer games, and those hectic mornings when a pour-over feels like climbing Mount Everest, my JoGo has become my go-to companion. The simplicity is what makes it perfect - just add grounds, hot water, and I'm ready to tackle whatever adventures my quartet of tiny humans has in store. The fine mesh filter delivers a clean cup every time, and cleanup is as simple as a quick rinse. I was worried there would be issues with grounds or over-extraction, as a recovering coffee snob pre-kids, and I have been happily surprised with how good the cup is. Similar to a French press, but somehow better, maybe it’s the controlled tip and how it hits your tongue? Or maybe it’s just magic... I love that it also comes with a little carrying pouch and a cleaning brush. So convenient! I'm so impressed that all my brother and sister-in-laws are getting one in their stockings this year (don't tell them!). Thanks, kids, for the perfect gift. Dad promises to stop "borrowing" mom's coffee gear now! ❤️

Really strong brew, no grounds get thru, perfect!
Love that this made a strong, mellow, almost thick tasting coffee- like a French press would. It’s super easy to use and no grounds go through straw, even with finely ground coffee. Delicious and easy to use, easy to Clean with spin off filter and provided pipe cleaner. Only cautionary point: if you are someone who takes their time and drinks their coffee slowly over the morning hour… sitting in grounds seems to make this extra caffeinated. It defn felt like my 2nd or 3rd cup not first the day I took my time!

Great for lose leaf tea!
This is a really nice, well made, straw. I use if for loose leaf tea and it works great!

Good for coffee and loose tea; almost a nice bombilla!
I bought the pebble gray version at $24.96; it is now $19.96 with the current deal. My first impression on taking this straw out of the envelope was that it might be a nice curved bombilla for drinking yerba mate. In a standard metal bombilla, the straw does not protrude down into the filter, which allows a strong suction to compress the loose yerba (herbs) around the filter, supposedly to better extract more nutrients from the "tea". This straw is well made and the filter will easily keep loose leaves, grounds, or pieces of fruit or other herbs in the cup and out of the straw and out of the drinker's mouth. It is long enough so you can comfortably drink through it from your average 20-ounce capacity Yeti type tumbler, but the curved top and slightly flared mouth means you won't be placing this straw through the straw opening of any tumbler or mug lid I have ever seen. I still don't like the texture and feel of silicone, so I probably won't be using the mouth piece cover that comes with this straw. I notice that an extra filter for the Gojo unit costs almost as much as this whole kit that comes complete with a draw-string closing mesh bag, a nice zipper close bag, and the silicone tip cover and filter installed. The filter design means that you need GoJo's filter, and I doubt you will find anybody else's straw that can fit it, until a copycat competitor becomes available. I think that calling this a "brewing" system is a bit of a semantic stretch unless you consider the act of stirring your tea leaves or coffee grounds and mixing in other additives to be "brewing". With the five dollar price drop since I bought one, I might get a second one in a different color. I compares favorably in most respects to a number of Argentine and Brazilian bombillas I have bought for similar prices. Now, if Gojo could offer it in additional colors, like Red?

Absolutely brilliant. Love my coffee made and consumed through the straw. Great design and very practical. Took me a while to find the cleaning brush hidden inside the straw though!

I was a little skeptical but had watched a few YouTube videos and everyone was saying how great it was. Honestly it's brilliant.... works just like they say, perfect coffee everytime and you can take it anywhere. I just want to add it works just as well with loose Tea also.... One thing is the cleaning brush is inside the straw when you buy it, so make sure to take it out first. A+

I didn't expect to like this straw too much but now after 4 months of use I can say I really like it! I use it almost daily. I am not a coffee expert so I don't know if this makes the best tasting coffee.. but I have a french press and an aeropress and I like having coffee with this more than the frenchpress, and the same as the aeropress. The main thing about this though is just how quick and simple it is to use.. and you don't generate dishes with it.. just the cup and the straw. It also filters the coffee grinds well, I didn't have any issue with that. Additionally I like that it has another use: you can drink yerba mate with it.
