Scotland's Hidden Sacred Past

Another great book
The book is well written, easy to read and very informative! I’ve read some of the content in this book before, and a lot was new news to me! I love the fact that the author actually visited Scotland, Sardinia, and the Armenia, He did “physical “ research. The author put A LOT of research into his book. The connection between Sardinia and Scotland is well documented, they are the only two areas to have broch, the round stone type towers. As is Scotland and the area around Armenia. Read ancient Irish accounts of the first people to settle in Scotland. The thing with the sages, blond hair, red hair, blue green eyes is the fact that back in antiquity it was really RARE. People then were darker in general. Unless you were a Neanderthal, red hair. I think this is what the author is trying to convey. There are MANY ancient accounts, from all over the ancient world of light hair and blue eyed people in white robes “ restarting” humanity, after the great flood or other calamities. They were called the Seven Sages. The Maya, Aztec, Far East etc, all speak of them. It’s just a FACT! They were so “ different “ from everyone else. That’s the point!

Very thoroughly researched
As my title reads it was very thoroughly researched, and very entertaining for such a topic. Mr Silva does jump to some obscure conclusions, and occasional fact checking does counter some of his data but I am purchasing more of his books. If you like Graham Hancock you will probably like Freddy Silva. An enjoyable read

Excellent writing and fascinating material
Being a sacred site researcher and National Geographic photographer (World Pilgrimage Guide) I am very impressed with both the fine writing and revealing insights that Freddy Silva abundantly shares in this book - as he does in all of his previous books.

Trip through time
This wonderful book takes back into ancient times, allowing a well researched visit to places of old.The author has done a great amount of research with boots on the ground in many places, even learning new languages and old languages to provide insight to the readers.I’ve read quite a few of Freddy Silva’s books, and again with his newest offering, he does not disappoint.Do not pay attention to reviews that try to cancel this man’s efforts to bring you information that has been occluded for centuries. He is sincere and earnest in his efforts.Wonderful work. My review isn’t from a confirmed Amazon purchase but one from Audible. I’ve listened to it twice so far and starting on the third round.Thank you Freddy!!!Airmid DR.

awesome book awesome author
I absolutely loved history, but I know that a lot of it has been tainted what we got taught in school is just a white washed and I don't mean in the racist sense white washed telling of our past . I always knew that there was more to the history of the Celts this digs deeply into Origins of the people and where they migrated from originally very interesting read highly recommend

I am laughing outloud
This is the first time I've ever reviewed a book before I finished it. I'm a third of the way through, and thus far have enjoyed every word of it. Mr. Silva is no armchair-explorer, he is boots-on-the-ground. I've frequently suspected Scotland must have a terribly old history, or prehistory as the case may be, and this book is proving that. Any reader who is into prehistory will be fascinated. That said, I'm especially enjoying Mr. Silva’s wry humor. His boots-on-the ground research is leaving me holding my sides in laughter.
