Sometimes, a Canadian winter is a brute but the dog wants her running around in the park anyway! This hat has a soft fleecy lining and also on the ear flaps which is great. It fastens by threading a velcro strip through a rectangular plastic slot and then folding it back on itself. It's a bit difficult to get the velcro into the slot and it doesn't pull close enough together under my chin so the hat remains a bit too loose and lets the wind in. It would be better if the strap fastened over to another piece located on the ear flap on the other side - avoiding having to thread it through that little slot altogether.The hat could do with being a little longer so that it came down around your neck a bit more. I really like the peak on this hat. Winter hats with a peak are hard to find and as it can be very sunny in the winter here, I need that. Great for skiing too. The addition of the face mask is perfect for blocking an icy wind and protecting skin against frostbite in severe winter conditions. It's a little loose so it doesn't feel claustrophobic and the snaps are not too hard to pull apart. Paid a fortune for a similar hat from MEC but the peak's too small to be functional and the face mask is too tight. This is a much better buy.

The hat is very niceComfortable but a little tight on the head.The strap to go around the neck is way to short no room for adjustment at all.Very warm and windproof.I found the face mask a little tight would be better if it had two sets of snaps on one side to adjust fit size so it's not pushing on nose.

It is on the big side, but that may be a positive point as I can use my regular winter hat underneath as the fur in this hat is very thin. At the same time using a regular hat underneath makes it a little annoying as needs constant adjustment. But all things consider I am happy with the product and would recommend it anyway.

J'ai acheté ce Trooper Chapeau pour ma femme et moi et nous l'apprécions beaucoup par temps frois, venteux, mais aussi chaud à la hauteur de la bouche avec le cache bouche mais au vent, nous sommes content de l'avoir. Recommende beaucoup pour les promenades.

Would've gotten better quality from the dollar store no fur what so ever in the head part as advertised, mask is cheap af. The clip barely works, to many gaps for cold to get in, barely adjustable and nothing but a steaming pile of trash
