But hard to match colors.You're supposed to mix the colors but there's no way to measure a second time. It's probably great for black or white.Directions say to cut off loose pieces, but then it's hard to fill the indent. I'm going to stick them back down when I do the rest. The sponges are handy and eliminate the brush strokes.

I used a leather cleaning product that stated 'will not strip color from leather' but unfortunately it did. My leather sofa was stripped down to the bare hide! Then I bought this professional DYI leather paint repair kit and was able to add color back onto the leather. The sofa is a tan/camel color and with the 12 tubes of color, this DIY kit provides, I was able to mix tan, caramel, and a spot of yellow for the perfect color match. The kit also comes with all the accessories necessary to mix and then brush on the color. I also used the sponges provided to drag out some of the color to fade out my repair.

Great kit, good quality and comes out very good. He used this kit to fix some areas on his leather motorcycle jacket and it’s very easy to use, applies well and looks very good. Definitely recommend, comes with lots of variety of colors to use and mix. 5 stars!

Other reviewers have said this and I should have believed them. After much trial and error I was still unable to get a suitable color match, it should be noted here that I'm a painter who specializes in large abstract canvasses so I'm no stranger to mixing colors.

I don't know what this is. Nowhere on the packaging or tubes of stuff is an ingredient listed as required by US consumer law, which is typical of products from this country especially as sold on this platform. It is the usual, Buy our mystery product and trust us.It is definitely not a petroleum distillate or alcohol-based dye, which you might be hoping for given the penetration and holding qualities of know dyes to repair scratched leather. This stuff is unknown. The tubes have no smell and are completely water soluable.Since you might want to knowledgeably match the type of repair dye to an expected effect on leather, disregard this product. Its contents remain a question mark even after you buy it. It says "professional" all over the package. What professional would try to repair marred leather using a mystery substance?At best, this is a water-based coloring, which one would not expect to hold up to the usage to which leather is subject. If you are experienced at mixing color, as in painting, you should be able to mix this stuff to any desired color. So, I give it a star for that. And then, if you paint it on and never touch the spot again, you might be happy with it.

I was able to use one of the many supplied colors with no mixing to make the repair.

Ich hatte in meinem Bürostuhl einen ca. 5 cm langen Messerschnitt, der richtig durch das Leder ging.Die Bedienungsanleitung ist nur in englisch vorhanden, aber der Ablauf ist selbst erklärend. Den Flicken zugeschnitten (Ecken abrunden nicht vergessen) und mit dem Spatel die Klebemasse zwischen Leder und Flicken schieben. Über Nacht trocknen lassen. Am nächsten Tag begann ich den Schnitt zu füllen. Das habe ich 2x wiederholt. Immer schön Abends und über Nacht trocknen lassen. Ergebnis ist, der Schnitt ist kaum noch zu sehen. Man muss schon sehr genau hinsehen und wissen, wo er war. Gehe jetzt noch mit Lederpflege drüber. Dann wird er weg sein.

As you can see this chesterfield needed a repair and this kit worked really well. Built up multiple layers over a number of days. Used the fabric to patch the repair underneath the hole. Very happy with how it's turned out. Highly recommend. Amazing range of colour options and easy to use.
