My autistic son has both seasonal allergies and Dermatographic urticaria (histamine reaction of the skin). As a result he has to be on antihistamines all the time. I hoped to try something with less risk of side effects which this is good for according to my Dr. However I have noticed it seems to be weaker than Cetirizine in his case. I believe its probably good for mild-moderate allergies but maybe not for more severe cases. I will continue to use as a secondary antihistamine medicine during bad flare ups (dr recommended).
