Mario Badescu Walnut Body Lotion, 6 Fl Oz

I’ve been using and loving this product for years but can no longer find on the MB site so I ordered here. The lotion I received looks different, smells different, and is far less effective than the real deal.

It is a light lotion that is moderately greasy and not as readily absorbed as I expected. When you first apply this cream, it smells like a watered down paint thinner or treatment oil for wood flooring. Only after a minute or two does that dissipate and become a more gentle woody smell....much like saw dust. I don't see any noticeable improvement in my skin as it very obviously washes away in the shower, where you will notice your skin suddenly become greasy in the humidity. AKA no absorption. It is good to note that walnut oil is very good for the skin....perhaps just go for pure walnut oil instead of this.

It's very a very lightweight lotion.
