Good fun game, well thought out and planned, my daughter enjoyed it

Very entertaining entry in the series. Whilst the difficulty isn't hight for this one, all the pieces of evidence have a part to play, unlock some of the other entries that throw in the odd red herring. For the short playtime none of these games are worth the full price, so only get them when they're on sale.

We started off with "Death and the Dive Bar" and were really impressed, enough so to grab another box. This one is more of the same - albeit that little bit more difficult - with a bit more information to go over and make sense of. Just like Dive Bar the contents of this box were clearly made with care. The items feel high quality and are well crafted. The story itself is solid, with enough to make you think. Such a shame that these boxes don't appear to be in production anymore. I'm definitely going to be on the look out for more of these though!

Totally like single episodes like this one, including Death at the Dive Bar! Components don’t feel cheap at all and the gameplay is just so immersive. How I wish Murder at the Motel is also on sale on Amazon Sg so I could snap it up too.

Good game was a lot of fun for the family

I'm a big fan of these games; the effort they put into the making of is great and the experience of becoming a detective is awesome.

This review is for 'Hunt a Killer Body on The Boardwalk' Paid full price, $55 CAD. This box comes with good quality items, including a locked box which of course holds some extra evidence that you need to really seal the case closed. It's too bad for us that the combination for the lock was the last thing we figured out, otherwise some things could have been easier for us, but trying to not spoil anything by saying any more than that! My mom and I played this game over two nights, so in that respect, we did get our money's worth, but I could imagine if more experienced players split into teams and did it, it could be done in only a couple of hours, and then that price tag might make you think twice. If you didn't want to pass the game along, there are a couple neat little items you can keep and use IRL, including the lock and the box! Otherwise, it's easy to repackage and regift or donate somewhere. I won't hesitate to buy another Hunt a Killer game, especially if I see it on sale. Other than the price, my only criticism is the hints. To even get to them, you have to give them your email address. We reviewed them at the end to see if we missed anything, and I find it hard to believe that they'd be very helpful if we were really stuck. Otherwise you really need to be sure about your answer before you open the solution envelope.
