Good product to buy. Worth it.

I bought this multi use extension lead particularly for charging my phone and tablet and for the first 5 months it functioned well. However, I recently began to perceive the smell of burnt plastic, not really knowing where the odour was coming from. Initially I thought the smell was from outside my flat only to find out that the smell of burning rubber was coming from this extension lead. It appears it has a short durability span, there’s a health and safety issue here that must be taken seriously to avoid the risk of fire. I suggest thorough inspection on electrical items must be carried out before putting such products in the marketplace. I think the materials used on this product is of a lower quality. The 4.5 star review in my opinion is overrated and quite misleading due to my experience with this product.

Having just brought a weather station from Germany that was not supplied with a three pin plug or a very long wire, I was left having to buy an extension lead and an adapter. But first, this lead is the second one I ordered from Amazon, the first a simpler two-socket of similar design except the wire was supplied wrapped in a coil and refused to stay flat. I sent it back and tried again.This lead is superior in every way. The wire is folded and easily flattened out, it's a good length, it has two USB ports, colour coded switched sockets, counter sunk screw holes for mounting and the cake for the previous cherries - some genius has created an extension lead that takes a complete range of plug types.And as the universe like to play jokes on people - it comes from...Germany.

Bought for my home office a few months ago. One of the USB charging sockets stopped working about a week after I got it, but everything else works well.

Had relatives visiting from Canada, so thought I'd save them the problem of having to use adapters. This extension was excellent, they found it easy to use, liked the fact each socket had its own switch and there were 2 USB ports as well. Around everyone was happy.

Really nice and useful extension lead ☺️The colour codes around the switches, makes easier to decide which device should be switched on ☺️ because of its perfect size and shape it is easy to hide or keep under furnitures and never stop me opening the cupboard's doors ☺️ love the opportunity that I can use different plugs in there, such as UK, European.........
