9814 Limited Edition Round Car Cane Mobility and Standing Aid with Built-in Flashlight

I bought my first one about 6 years ago when it wasn't as pricey. It has been in my car the whole time--a testament to who well made it is. Ran into a patient that needed one. Since Bed, Bath & Beyond is no more, I am grateful to have found this on Amazon.

As usual, with all Amazon® shipping, product arrived well in advance of estimated shipment date, which is always pleasant.The product is exactly as described. The two (2) LED lights are bright enough to illuminate immediate surroundings. Practical for finding items atound the car, searching in a handbag, through the glove box, and facilitating key insertion at night. It fits perfectly in sub-compact and full-size door frames. The rubber grip is a nice touch. Can also serve as an arm rest while catching one's breath and repositioning the passenger with limited or challenged mobility, while still sitting. As a plus, it can serve as a a handle to help lift the passenger from a sitting position as there is enough space in the handle opening for two (2) hands : one person pulls with one hand while the passenger grips the handle from the other side. Make sure to instruct the passenger to always push downward on the assemby when inserted inside the door buckle, not lifting upwards, as the unit will come out easily from the door frame buckle.Can easily be placed in a handbag or large coat pocket to carry around with the user. A must item to facilitate vehicle entry and exit. Five (5) stars.

This is so useful for anyone needing a little assistance in and out of the vehicle. It also has a convenience light you can use when needed and also has a seat belt cutter. It can handle different weights and it feels sturdy while using it. This was a great buy.

This item was recommended by a friend whose husband had the same surgery I was having. I would have given it a higher rating for ease of use but it was a bit difficult to get in and out of my car because it is rather small.

My dad is awaiting hip surgery and getting in and out of the car is a big challenge. A friend loaned him his car cane and he loved it, so we had to get one. My mom uses a wheel chair, and this is also useful for her needs too. Help to stand up and transfer from car to wheel chair - nice and solid. Much easier to grab on to, than the latch, loop.Great purchase!
