Works really well in a vertical arrangement, but I mounted one on the side of my console and it can hold my glock 23 fully loafer but if you hit a bump it falls off. But overall I'm happy with them just use them vertically unless you only need one for smaller handguns, works great with a single stack like glock 42/43 etc...

Pretty simple to install. Thickness not so great. I had my gun attached to it. It was super cold that night when I reach to get my gun the plastic came with the gun. Only thing was left where I attached it what's the screw

They are okay and work, but they do not include installation screws or mounting tape as most of their competition do. The outer covering is a hard plastic, not a soft rubber covering as some others It remains to be seen whether this scratches the gun finish, but it seems like they will eventually .They are inexpensive.The strength of the magnet is not great enough for self-defense "holster" because the gun may not be completely steady when grasped, but is probably okay for storage, On my weapon, with a loaded 13 round chamber, it tends to raise the barrel up. My gun is a Springfield XD 9 Mod 2 and not particularly heavy.One tip, which would probably be true with many gun magnets not just this one, is to mount the magnet with a mounting tape first, since your tools, like mine are likely to be magnetic. The magnet will pull on the drill bit, the screws and the screw driver, and drill itself. So the mounting tape is not for "hold", but to keep the magnet from moving and the tools being pulled, when drilling or putting in the mounting screws.

Didn't think that it would hold a full size gun firmly but it does. It was more than I expected it's small and really not noticeable. It's a little bit better than the ones that are flat, you can get your hand inside to grab the gun firmly the flat ones are a little Slim hard to get your and around the handle of the gun

Awesome magnates. I thought it was gonna be bigger but these small magnates are strong as heck and hide easily.

I gave this 1 star because it measures as 7lbs not 25lbs.Otherwise it would get 3.5 stars due to the hard plastic design is easily damaged and mars weapons.There is not enough metal in the sides of the gun or the magnets are not strong enough to hold a PPK/S via a side mount.You cannot mount with the muzzle down on the top of the slide as the weapon slides down till it hits the sights, then slide off.It is too precarious to trust in real use.ONLY a horizontal mount on the rear of the slide holds the weapon, due to weight balance & magnet strength(or lack thereof), with nozzle pointing at something(Not a safe or recommended way to mount) is accomplished with this magnet design.The hard plastic gets damaged easily and can mar your weapons finish.I bought this design because it stands off the surface for a better quick grab, but it fails to hold my weapon.I would have to see a higher rated one or one that actually does 25lbs.The 2nd picture is DECEPTIVE as it shows a square single magnet, not this product.I don't have a weight handy but using a LUGGAGE scale I was able to pull it off a steel surface at around 7 to 8lbs of force.Ok I just tested a 25lb hook magnet and it took 25lbs of pull force with the LUGGAGE scale to pull it off the same surface.I used that magnet on the weapon and it holds more but the weapon slides down still. The magnet needs a rubberized surface to hold better.This Amazon product is a hard smooth (not for long it gets damaged easily)plastic.This is a problem with ALL magnets in my experience they don't hold well vertically as they tend to slide unless you put a stop in the way or have non smooth surfaces.I have to imagine all the GLOCKS & clones have a flatter/fatter more metallic slide that holds better with these magnets then the PPK design.15mm Slide Flat side Height(on left, right is mostly round chamber)6.5mm Wavy top deck Slide Surface Width.Maybe if this was indeed a 25lbs magnet it would have worked as advertised, but my testing shows it's 7lbs.I will try a flat 35lb+ magnet next.

Great product and fast shipping. I’ve purchased these before. They work great! I have a wooden gun case that displays all my rifles. There was a big opening on the back of case above the top shelf. I have mounted 6 magnets to hold some pistols. Now they can also be viewed through the glass doors. It looks awsome!

Holds Glock in the hoster (magnet directly on slide). It was easy to install with the hardware that came with it. Glad it came with screws and adhesive strips.
