Work great for the price. Will not hold 25 lbs but are fine for a full size handgun. Allow you to keep guns hidden and handy around the house. Never know when or where you will need one!

I have this mounted in my truck. Use it everyday and have yet to have an issue. Fits any flat top pistol. Sturdy, firearm doesn’t wiggle around at all. Would recommend to anyone

It will not hold 25lb by no means. But I did expect it to be able to hold a single stack 9mm and it barely does that. Not a good magnet by no means. I have other buy other companies that's does a much better job for a 1-2more buck. Don't try and save a buck or 2 with this one like I did just to be disappointed. Go ahead and do yourself a favor and get better one. It holds my gun but it slide around and more than likely gonna scratch on my gun. I'm pretty sure if I hit a bump it's gonna fall off. Buyers beware not the best magnet!

I did my absolute best to figure out the max normal force this magnet can hold and the most I could get is 20 pounds.Take note that this is in a best-case scenario on a flat steel surface at an exact perpendicular direction. My magnet in no way held 25 lbs.In a real life application your gun will not have a flat surface to cover the entire magnet and will likely not be mounted where sliding won't occur.That being said, expect a realistic holding force of 4 to 8 pounds.

Works Great to hold a pistol inside a vehicle console. Seems to be well constructed and should last a long time. It is definitely a strong magnet. I deducted on star from the review because it doesn't come with mounting screws. For the price its an excellent product, I would recommend.

bought one from another company, it easily held 25 pounds, so I wanted another but the company went up $5 in price, so I bought this one. it holds the item I got it for very well, but i tried the 25lb dumbbell test. Failed

Round magnets are VERY tiny. Not much more than 1/4" diameter each. Don't know if they will do the job or not but I'm going to try. I thought they were much larger given the listed measurements and picture portrayed. I have a similar magnet that has a similar sized base but just a single (but much larger) magnet. Problem with it is that my gun "spins" and rotates on it. Maybe this will solve the problem in spite of the diminutive size.

This product works good an will definitely hold a loaded gun in place. The only thing I would like to see improved is to put some felt on the magnents or make the finish more pliable to keep from marring your gun.
